Title: Buying Alts with ETH or BTC

It is amazingly confusing for me to understand whether to buy ETH or BTC to trade for ALTS. I plan on holding a good % of BTC and ETH in my portfolio, but when it comes to these fluctuating BTC and ETH prices, I'm never sure whether to buy one first to trade for ALT coins.

Any suggestions?

In my opinion I prefer buy bitcoin cash and hold, Inthink BCH is good  coin and more potential coin at the coming year.

on many exchanges you can buy altcoins for fiat . no need btc or eth

Bitcoin is better for trading, because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency learned by ordinary people

I personally prefer hold ethereum for long investment. I believe the market will rise soon.

I think we will also use both bitcoin vs eth to get more profit, with us trading on alt.

I plan to hold good BTC and ETH in my portfolio, but when it comes to fluctuating BTC and ETH prices, I have never been sure whether I will buy it first to trade ALT coins. This is really confusing, but I still have to make a decision.
