People are afraid of ICOs because most ICOs do not end up very well. Some are even scam projects. It is very difficult to tell which one is good and which one is bad. Aside these, it is now recognized that the price of the coins are far cheaper when first listed on the market than most of the ICO prices.

Even if they aren't scamming a lot of these ICO's don't know how the crypto markets work.. I'm currently invested in one that I believe is a dynamite project but they refuse to pay for exchange listings.. I've seen others where they spend half their investment on exchange listings and its just listed vaporware... I've seen others that have great ideas but the use case of the token doesn't really make sense.. The reality is even if it isn't a scam, it likely won't work out well.. the project has to be unique in idea, marketing, and use case for token... and a lot of projects just don't have all three.

Yes ico get a bad image in the eyes of investors in this year. Many ico scams and do not fit the token price after being listed on the exchange make many investors who suffered losses due to ico project.

I think there are a lot of scam projects. About 50% of ICOs are mostly scam ICOs

Yes, That is the number reason why a lot is afraid in ICO because of scammers, but not at all is a scam there is legit ICO also.

Yes, prices of ICO's do fall after an exchange. This is why a lot of investors are now afraid to join. But there are still a lot of good ICO's out there. You can ask those who are good at ICO's to choose for you. you can join telegram groups whereby only legit ICO's are being posted there.

I think the reason is there are many ICOs that are scams. If not, the ICO isn't successful that's why they are afraid. Recently i just invested on VLUX https://vlux.io/.

if in my opinion it depends on the iCO project for its future goals.
if we look at the ICO GEMERA project "like it" will be good in the future, because GEMERA is supported by Diamond from Colombia.

That's why many ico is scam in the market. So it is risky to join the ICOs. And many people do not want to deposit their money in something risky.

The risk of people running off with the money; the risk of losing everything; the risk of teams not delivering on their promises. All of these things will compound, resulting in poor returns.
2.As time goes on, the established coins will continue to gain footing in the market. Racing forward in their development, the most successful coins will overtake the majority of the market share. This results in the new entrants into the market needing to quickly catch up to these established juggernauts. Most investors are focusing on already established project to invest because they felt these are more reliable then the new start up project that are being lunched almost on a daily bases.

Not only 50% but 90% of ICO are scams. Thats why its too risky for now to invest from ICO, its better to invest potential token which is already in the market.

Yes many bad ICOs out there but does not mean no good ICOs the main problem is on our analisys fundamental of ICOs before makes desicion investment in them, we must increase our skill of analysis fundamental but if we search large of price cryptocurrencies will be better choose trading alternatives coins than investing in ICOs projects.
