Everyone hear the news, seems in Europe the so called powers that be want to put more regulation
for anyone who uses an exchange there to trade etc, they want to know who you are and when you are using the exchange for transactions in crypto.
so much for using the block chain and having a hidden ID in a transaction
must be a tactic to tax everyone in crypto?
anyone else read this? thoughts? its on cointelegraph.
something we dont want but who knows

It would be much better if you shared a link to an article in which you read about it. It seems to me that these are all rumors, since I have never seen such information :o

At the Bitcointalk forum, a topic with this name has already been discussed for a long time. Europe, of course, wants to know who you are, if you buy or sell large lots of crypto currency. Europe is now periodically subjected to terrorist attacks. Therefore, they want to see the movement of funds and know who they belong to. Terrorists are from somewhere and somehow financed. Therefore, Europe is forced to block such a possible channel for financing terrorism. There's nothing to be done. It's good that the European Parliament Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs positively assesses the possibility of decentralized crypto currency in the EU countries.

Crypto can be used for terror financing easily, so european authorities whom suffered from terror a lot, wants to know who uses crypto. Thats understandable somehow.

Crypto currency is anonymous, Uou Identity can not be tracked. It will used illegal activies. I think It is the reason why europe want to know who you are.

I think all this shadowing of the cryptos will lead to nothing good. If necessary, terrorists will be transferred and no one will know. This will affect more ordinary citizens, for the worse.

I dont think this is unnecessary considering the fact that before the coming of cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology, there has been terrorist attack in various places in the world, and this were been sponsored with money (fait). There may be continuous illegal activities in the world , whether terrorist, drugs or other forms of criminalities in world irrespective of whether cryptocurrency are fueling it or not. In a nutshell, every forms of illegal activities has been in the world, and these has sponsors before cryptocurrency arrived in my opinion. Thank you

All exchangers have made many kyc regulations. this will make users obey the rules about using crypto. there are several countries that prohibit citizens from using crypto.
