Title: As a matter of investment, Monero or bitcoin?
Post by: Bobcrypto on August 09, 2018, 09:40:01 PM
At this moment in time, if Monero and bitcoin were equally valued with same sized infrastructure, which crypto would you have, to spend, to hold, and to receive? Is one that announces all that you have, when and how much you spent? Or is it one that is so private, fungible and untraceable?  Share your thoughts.

For investment then I would prefer bitcoin to monero. This is due to the fact that it is the most trusted and acceptable coin wit a high ability of growth within a short period to make the most out of my investment. Aside that it’s price mostly directly or indirectly affects the price of other altcoins including monero.

For investment I prefer bitcoin as the main investment because of the strongest coins, but monero is also a potential altcoin, and is a good alternative choice for investment.

I will choose first bitcoin then monero. Both are potential and can manage the unnecessary things to happen during dry season. Time will come the recovery will take place.

Of course I will choose BTC than monero. As we know Monero really has a privacy feature but talking about the infinite supply for monero, it's not a good idea.
But if i have a money to invest i will choose BTC than monero

I prefer to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in Monero, because bitcoin is also a profitable thing that we hold now, so we will also get many benefits easily.

Bitcoin is a better bet. Monero being completely anonymous, it would be hard for any Government or any government regulated entity to accept/allow its usage.

Monero price (http://seo abuse/monero) has dropped significantly from the peak as compared to bitcoin price (http://seo abuse/bitcoin).

The infrastructure behind Monero is not bad. I believe people can always invest with ease in Monero and they can benefit in the very near future.

both coins are good and very promising, and if I choose between one of them I better choose monero, because it has a cheap and potentially price.

Monero is a well-known and trusted altcoin but it follows Bitcoin all the time. Therefore, I will better invest in BTC if I need to choose.

Many say that MONERO has a very heavy focus on Ring CT (I am not exactly familiar with Ring CT) but it is very different from Bitcoin which does not have scalability and other mining.
Then in terms of community, there are certainly many who support Bitcoin rather than Monero.

As soon as Monero will always follow Bitcoin, it is evident that you should better invest in BTC most of your money, however, this altcoin has potential also

if it's all the same, I think I prefer monero, because actually I really like Monero, and I will hold back the monero that I have and one day the price will definitely soar.

Have you tried out CoinSwitch exchange for comparing the prices of XMR to BTC (http://seo abuse/monero/monero-to-bitcoin) at various exchanges. You can see the rates offered at Changelly, Binance, ChangeNow, KuCoin, IDEX etc.

In times of investment I can conveniently choose bitcoin because of it's popularity and domination but still since all serves the same purpose of investment I think there's nothing wrong investing on the both bitcoin and monero altogether because it will help me to increase my income if monero share the same value with bitcoin I don't have any doubt I will invest on the both project together.

Monero, of course a good coin, but for now I’m afraid to deal with it. I read that coins with a high level of anonymity, including her, were banned for use in Japan. Japan may be followed by other states. In this case, it is safer to invest in Bitcoin.

Monero is a very good coin, but I will never hesitate between two of them, making a choice. Bitcoin is certainly the number one cryptocurrency, the real market leader, and Monero also depends on BTC.

If Monero and Bitcoin were equally valued and had the same application infrastructure, I would choose Monero. This coin is better in functionality than bitcoin. However, although Bitcoin is slowly improving, it is more reliable.
