Title: is altcointalk legit?
Post by: Agnitayo2 on August 10, 2018, 04:37:10 AM
Ive been here in this forum for almost three weeks , and participating here in altcointalk is really amazing because aside from lot of way to earn tokens and points, the paricipants are also approachable and friendly. Yet sometimes i've noticed that there is a rumor that altcointalk forum is not legit ,that made me curious if that is true. So is it really not legit?

Maybe the op referring to the wrong forum because as far as I know there are so many forum regarding crypto. Some of them are not so active. This altcoinstalks forum is on the process to be well know sooner as what the team doing their best as long as they can.

What's not legit about this forum? I mean, we have a working forum and points are given for posting here. You can redeem those points once you have more than 1000 for ALTS, which is already trading in few exchanges like etherdelta. So, I don't see a reason to think the forum is not legit.

Altcoinstalks is just almost a year, if someone encountered a scam project from this forum, it doesn't mean this forum is not legit, it so happen that there are projects that we can't easily figure out if it is a scam or not. That is why bounty hunters are joining with their own risk this phrase is familiar for all the hunters. Also if one project here revealed as scam after the due date will be the reason to call this forum not legit, then I would also say that even BTT fall on the same track specially that place is the place where the first scammers were being matured.

Thanks and welcome for being here mate.  ;)

Life on earth seems unfair.
You do good or bad, people can tell whatever they would like to.
My point, even altcoinstalks be the best forum of cryptos. Still people can say something that against it but actually not. They are unsatisfied and yet nothing. It is reliable to say something if you are something. Never mind of those people for they are short sighted.

how do you guys verify these ICOs, do you act like escrows for the funds and will take responsibilities to expose when a potential scam ICO comes?

i think the forum has gradually gain more users and traffic now that the bitcointalk are tightening. i should say altcoinstalk is becoming busy.

I think the forum is setup for massive growth with the next altcoin cycle when that begins.. I've been participating here for a few months and find the day to day experience more pleSPAM BANble to btt, simply because I can rank here and my participation can pay of.  I've experienced scam projects on both forums.. it's almost impossible to vet every single thing about a project and theres just so many unknowns even to projects that look completely legit (lol okay you win this time SEC)... but I wouldn't let a couple of bad apples ruin the entire experience for you... but the forum does look like it is here to stay and has been going for quite some time.  We all have our part to play in its success however, and should maintain a friendly and desirable forum experience as possible..  and make sure to let those from other forums know that it won't take you two years to potentially rank up here and there's lots of time still left to join and earn before the diminishing returns get set in place (merit, or whatever other solution is added to slow down ranking years down the track).

Important !!

Verified = we contacted the teams to make sure these are authorised bounties, not some guy who copy pasted the bounty ancd changed info.

We can not guarantee any ICO/Airdrop or Bounty is not a scam, it is not our job to do the due diligence, our job is to make sure people are not creating fake bounties and airdrops.

please check the disclosure on the bottom of our forum

I see that Op don't answer questions in his own thread.

Anyways, I will post one more time to clear things up. There is no way for AltcoinsTalks to be 100% sure if bounty campaign will be paid. Even best ICO could turn out scam. We all have seen this in the last few years. Our moderators and Admin do their best to check all bounties but like I said there is no way to be sure.

Lately, there is an new addition to AltcoinsTalks tokens and they are called bounty tokens. If there will be any problem with a bounty AltcoinsTalks members which participated will receive in return this bounty tokens. I think this is a great addition to our forum and will bring a lot of new members. This is something new and only available here on AltcoinsTalks forum.

More information about bounty tokens you can find in this thread: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=40642.0 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=40642.0)

Yes of course in fact there are so many bounty participants that already received bounty rewards from ICOs project here in Altcoinstalk.

I think, like other forum we can't really sure that the bounty campaigns posted in the forum are legitimate  to participate.

if I see you might be hesitant about this forum.
but if you know in this forum have a team for verification like bounty and airdrop.
on the other hand in this forum have friendly and polite members. I am sure, if we want to jointly build this forum it will be even bigger.
