As compared to last year, there have been a lot of airdrops this year. What do you think is the reason?

Of course everything about crypto is double now compared to the last year. Too many ICOs which lead to too many bounty. But for airdrops, I'm not really interested because it always need social media account to share or invite other peoples. I think most of them just a scam to collect peoples personal information.

I think as there are many ICO launched this year, the number of airdrops also increased. But it is true that most of them were scam. This airdrop was arranged by unofficially. So, before joining in any airdrop please check the official group announcement.

Many ico projects and other projects that make coins or tokens for exchanges are traded this year.

Why Too many people in the world?
Because of satisfied wants and unending desires of everyone.
The same with airdrops. Too many airdrops because of promoting that it is good to attract investors.
The more years pass by the more airdrops comers.

Everything depends on the total amount of ICOs. 2018 is the year of new ICOs, so it is normal that all the token sales starts with an airdrop for the community. I think that the amount of airdrops will increase in the next years.

Airdrops have become the fashion of the moment, since the beginning of the year every day there are many. The problem is that most will not pay anything and only someone will give some tokens of little value. The reason for the birth of all these airdrops in my opinion is that they take advantage of the work of people to get publicity for free, because the majority as I repeat will not pay anything.

Airdrops is enough move to attract the multitude of investors if possible. This is actually with crypto revolution. If there is new project it is possible that there is airdrop.

They launch the airdrop and want more people to follow their social media channel and attract the investors, it easy to make people or investors notice the project and surprised or impressed, but there are many scam project now, even the ICO success or not, you nothing get in final, it's worthless!

Airdrops are another way of advertising ICO's and creating awareness. There are a lot of them because new ICO's are coming up. The difficulty is with identifyin the good and bad ICO's.

maybe because a new cryptocurrency requires a large user community so they make Airdrop to get more of the community, this community can mean a database. usually the telegram database they need most often.

In my opinion with the number of Airdrops that have emerged lately, it provides opportunities for hunters to create an additional income maybe the factor that affects the amount of Airdrop is to show that there will be ico that appears and is known by the majority of hunters to join in the future.

More airdrops means more coming projects. But we cant sure if this airdrops are valuable, some are shit tokens comes from failed project and some are less value tokens.

Certainly this year the ICO's project is more than the previous year. So they need airdrop to promote their projects through the community and get a lot of support, thus making investors interested in joining their projects.
The rewards obtained by airdrop are also different from last year. In this current year, the value found was very small. Maybe one of them is also caused by how many ICO's projects are registered and competition between ICO's projects.

You are right, and i think that air drop will rather increase even 2019 because companies see air drop as a means of passing information to the general public about their project and the need to invest on them.
Again, Air drop is just another way of distributing cryptocurrency tokens to help with the process of adoption for the particular token. Some ICO projects choose to give out their tokens practically for free to members of their community as a means of encouraging the token’s adoption and usage with the hope that in the process, there will be increased demand for the token which will in turn help to drive up its value.

I think this is the easiest way to fool participants in promoting their ICO projects. I am not too attracted by this type of campaign as more than 90% of raindrops are a scam. Worst, some of these airdrops goes to the extent of getting your personal info (including email) as a requirement for joining. Try to avoid this type of bounty campaign, instead, join the signature campaign it's the most profitable campaign ever.

I think The reason why too many airdrops. Because Airdrop is good program and very profitable. But You must be carreful to choose airdrop. Too many airdrops are scams.
