The full article is linked to below, an excellent read if you have the time.
The short concluding parts:
Following the “herd,” has always ended badly for investors. In every full-market cycle, there is an inevitable belief “this time is different” for one reason or another.
It isn’t. It has never been. And this time will not be different either.
However, what has always separated out the great investors from everyone else, is they have acted independently of the “herd.” They have a discipline, a strategy and a driving will to succeed.
They don’t “buy and hold.” They buy cheap and sell expensive. They avoid losses at all costs and they deeply understand the relationship of risk to reward.
They are the “non-stupid.”
These are the ones you want to follow.
Not the ones screaming at you on altcoinstalks telling you to “buy, buy, buy.”

I really liked the article.. I thought it was informative.. even though I do feel like now is the time to buy buy buy! :D I've had several conversations with people over the last couple of days who bought ethereum up at like 1000 and are nervous to buy eth at 300.00.. this is just the state we're in and what the avg person is like... +Karma for the informative article.

it is true that we cannot follow people, we must be able to estimate for ourselves the steps we will take in investing if our plans fail. we must have a trustworthy position and data. for that before investing in ICO you must learn about ICO
-
That is right. Don't trust the advisor's advice too much. Better to make our own analysis, depends on our abilities. Then we know what step should we do, And how if it fails, what is the second plan we should do then
-
I think so. It would be better to do your own analysis and not believe much what other people say. Analysis or strategy can be seen from the data that exists in the coin market, which coins give more results to buy today

This is very true buddy. What we ought to do now is to make sure we buy more coins and HOLD for the future to come. I can see a brighter future this year.

wow, he got +Karma. :D Give me one.. ;D
yeah, talking about buy buy buy, maybe they are true for now is the right time to buy buy buy. For me, stupid investors who don't use knowledge and analysis in trading activity.

I think investing in bitcoin is also a good and positive investment, we use an easy way to make a profit, so I believe investing in bitcoin is not a stupid investment ...
-
Maybe we can considere both kinds of investors the weak and the strong. Sometimes the suggestion to buy is good when the market goes down but it should be done with proper mindset and understanding in order to have a concrete decision.
-
I'm sorry, the new person doesn't understand what stupid investors mean, because what I know is that investors aren't ignorant of neglecting investors, please explain
-

I think the person who made him successful in the crypto world was because he wanted to study seriously and make the opinion of the group / person just as a suggestion. so he decides his own actions. because if you follow the group's opinion, when they sell their assets together, the price will automatically go down on a large scale. maybe the mistake is there. if you buy and buy, we need big money. we need smart capital more than money capital. be smart

Yes It is true. Too many scams now. We must be carreful to invest in crypto currency.
-
It is not good for people to follow others blindly. It is good to read and learn from other people's mistakes. Bottom line develop your own strategy and what you want to achieve. Buy and sell your crypto coins base on your own conviction not because someone said so,like when John McAfee was pumping some coins

Stupidity is everywhere, unfortunately you can fall but you can not get away, most importantly, to do your own analysis.
