Hi, everybody. Faced with a lot of fraudulent projects that collected money and quietly left. What sanctions and penalties are applied to them? If you know something, tell us, many will be very interesting to hear)

it is true that there are many fraudulent ico projects nowadays, and I think that there must be a punishment for harming many people or investors.

I think life imprisonment will do but we all knows that it is hard to catch these scammer so instead of punishing them in which for sure scamming will never stop but the government will create a powerful regulation that will catch these scammer before they could victimize people like what happening in China in which the scam projects could not penetrate in the country anymore.

Yes I agree There is punishment for ICO scams. Too many ICOs are scams now. It will be affect investor.

A good question. A cheating ICO would be better off getting a sentence. Many investors are disadvantaged because their projects are scam. But what kind of punishment can be applied? I think it's hard to punish them, because the coin trading is still illegal.

I totally agree for the punishment for ICO Scam, since i join to this forum and joining bounty campaign this is what i'm always asking to my self, if what is the punishment for ICO scam.

If there will have victims of the particular ICO scam campaign can testify here so that everyone be warn and will not do anything to that campaign but to neglect. The punishment for scam is let there be a fair judge to banned the whole team.

I think that ICO scamming people should have a penalty and must to be sanctioned. These ICO's should learn a lesson and they should pay the price for such fraudulent acts which is not acceptable on the side of the investors.

Since crypto is decentralize which also means there will not be any government intervention as of now. So i does not think there will be a punishment that will be lift on scam ICO. I am also interested to know if there is.

It hurts to accept, but it's true. very nice of their developments and we assume it's a legit, so many investors are attracted to their fraudulent activities. So now it's best to do maybe you or me Explore and explore the project. Ask them. If all your questions are answered. I'm sure is truly legit.

I think no ico scammer has been brought to justice uptil now but many cointries are busy in setting rules and regulations where only legit ones will be allowed to raise funds and the scammers will be caught and punished.

It's very difficult to know where they made the ico project. usually they give fake addresses. There could be no definite punishment for a scam project. Remember investing in crypto or ico is very risky.

I wish that there will be a punishment for ICO scams, a lot of scams are happening lately. Since it is decentralized, no one can impose a law or rule and since it is here on the internet scammers can hide their identity online.

There are not any documents to show. We have nothing to do with them because of the ghost ghost project. So it's better to explore or research before joining. For sure we have a good decision.

They are going to prison if they get caught. But your money probably becoming dust so we must be more careful and never invest them in the first place.

Those person who manage the scam project must be put into serious punishment such as banning their team if they massively abuse the communities innocents.

I agreed for hard punishment who scam in cryptocurrency and launching ICOs only for crowd funding and after that cheating investors emotions or fund and losses their hard money. I faced many ICOs and lost my principle amount to invest in them. I was too shocked that time.

Yeah, but you can't send someone to prison without seeing him or her face to face. May be there could other solutions that may be better used to deal with scammers, unfortunately, it not by arrest because crypto is decentralized; nobody controls it.

I am not really familiar with the punishments as I understand every country has different laws. They would definitely charge with fraud and would be required to pay those they scammed plus jail time.

I do not know the proper punishment, because until now I have not heard the news, the legal entity in the "x" country has arrested a collection of ICO project fraudsters, I have never heard of it, if ever, it means that a legal entity is starting to care about ICO fraud.

We know it, it should be a must to give them a punishment. But the question is what punishment exactly. You don't answer it yet, bro.
For me, basically the punishments are (1) pay compensation and (2) jail. Still, we have another question "how to catch them?". Crypto global system should have a security sector and legal assistance sector. Those sectors will cooperate to the police. However, I still don't know who are authorized for this matter since crypto world is decentralized. This is what we must think about.

I think the good punishment for ICO scams is to ban the team who are working and introduced the project. So that all their identities will get blocked by this forum and at less scammers will be lessen.

Because of this fraudulent project we give the reason the regulations to step in and makes crypto under the care of government.

It's best not to invest in ICOs. Biarin Project Committee Scam on confusion in attracting investors who want to enter their Scam Project. So if it is done like that, then they will be lonely because there are no investors entering the ICO and consequently their fraud projects fail miserably.
