It pretty troubling to hear people lament day in day out about how the recent market is making then incur significant lost.
Actually, i think that is total nonsensical. There is no lost without cash out during trading. You determine when to loss or make money, not the market.
Take a closer look at this:
If i held 0.1 etheruem during may 2018, when ethereum price was around 700$, it means i had 70$ as at then. But now (August) that etheruem price is at 256$, my 0.1 ether is currently worth 25.6$.
An anxious person will see this and get too scared, and so will decide to go ahead and sell his 0.1 ether on exchange for something like 24$... Obviously this person has incurred significant loss.
However, if i decide to keep my 0.1 ether during this red season and wait till green season where ethereum price shoot to 800+$, I surely will imagine myself making some profit.
Prompt:
Regardless how much of Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other Altcoin you possess, You determine when to loss money or make profit. Stop blaming the market.
Share below your opinion.

It all depends on how you want to play it. It is worth selling at a loss if you move those funds into another coin that you think will bounce up quicker. As with any foray into trading, it will be an 'educated' gamble, but better than just waiting and hoping. An overall recovery could theoretically take years, whereas individual coins could give a decent return in a much shorter time span. And I guess it's human nature to blame the markets, who else are we going to blame, ourselves? ;)

Good topic and I do agree...its annoying hearing how much people are capitulating now but was fully in power of selling it higher or not selling at a lower price... I caught myself the other day getting emotional at how eth was being manipulated on bitfinex but I took a step back and realized any eth im holding at these prices is really just on me... anyways +Karma for the harsh reminder we all need.

The choice to sell is ours . People turn to sell at a lost because they are scared to take the risk in HODLing for much longer. They sell at lost to cut their losses which is always a terrible decision. It is not good to sell after a big dip for it is always followed by a big hike. so one should not be sad or depress when he sells at a lost. The choice was entirely his

people who accuse the market that they have lost money aren't right. People nobody forces to invest money somewhere. All bear the money to invest. All think that they will become suddenly millionaires and when it doesn't occur they blame the market

I agree that until you withdraw your cryptocurrency-you have not lost anything. But to keep for a long time, when money is needed now-many people do not want.So they sell their coins.

I agree. The market will not hit the sell or buy button for you.
You are in full control of your trades, no one else.
