Is there any way to distinguish a worthy coin from a shit coin during ICO's?

There is no way to differentiate junk coins and coins that are actually coins in the ICO. Many look like really coins but it turns out the coin is a junk coin. And on the contrary, there is a coin that looks trash but instead it is a valuable coin.
