The Independent Association of Public Observers in Russia (National Public Monitoring - NOM) announced that it is testing a new voting system backed by blockchain technology.
In this sense, the coordinator of the NOM, Roman Kolomystev, commented that "as part of our congress, we are launching a voting system built with blockchain technology, also in collaboration with the Russian Free Election Fund and the Association of Lawyers of the Russian Federation".
Also, among the congress participants and partners, who could take advantage of the new development, there are more than 300 people from different regions in Russia, as well as the Public Association 'Group 32', the Association for Fair Elections and the body of popular observers.
It should be noted that the outlook for Russia has become more complicated in terms of decentralized trade, especially after the announcement of the Committee of the Russian State Duma of Financial Markets, which pointed out a few weeks ago that every miner and holder of cryptocurrencies in Russia would be subject to the regulations of the Internal Profit Code in force in the country.

In Russia a lot of talk and little doing. All the laws written on paper are very difficult to implement, and voting on the blockchain made me laugh. :D :D :D There is no democracy there!!!

I like this article if it is really implemented, not just talking about it, because up to this moment there are so many news stories that appear and most are just fake news or just talking about people.
