Title: What is Bitcoin sign message and stake address ?

I am really confused with these terms , already searched on web got the primary informations. But don't know why it is important ?

Anyone there could explain it fully ?
- saw this message in a thread where all were pasting there Bitcoin address , please explain
-saw this message from a legendary member advising before buying account , (ask for signed message and stake address )tell me the full concern ?
-is it a precaution of hacking ?

I have no knowledge in this, any senior member please help.

but, as far as i know, staking BTC address in forum, whether in btt or in altcoinstalks, is intended to prove ownership of related account... so it functions like binding between account and address... when hacking occurs or you forget your password, you can request to reset password

A digital signature of a Bitcoin address is required to verify a legitimate ownership as your account can be hacked at any time. And this digital signature can never be faked.  And it can provide whoever owns that bitcoin address.  And that's why a primary address is said to be staked as security so that by signing messages to that address, a legitimate owner can verify ownership and successfully recover their account.
