All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.
Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.
Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

As the king of cryto, bitcoin still has competitors. But I think some of the competitors that are currently still difficult to outperform bitcoin. Because bitcoin has a very large community so its position in coinmarketcap is very strong in the long run.
-
surely bitcoin has competitors, but in coinmarket bitcoin is still superior to being a trending topic, there is still no one who can outperform
-
I agree with you, mate. Bitcoin has no competitor, it is the first crypto coin and be different than altcoins. Bitcoin is a unique coins, while altcoins have many competitors. This is one of the advantages of bitcoin.
-
Yes I agree, In crypto currency investment bitcoin is one of the strong and popular coin and even though there are so many altcoins available in the market but it looks like that they don't have competition because they are far behind compare to bitcoin like market capitalization ,market value and many more..

I definitely agree.. the whole mining transactions are too costly and its too slow argument are getting old... Bitcoin's real nature is store of value, not buying coffee.. viewing it as bad because it doesn't do all things well is really shortsided, imo.

I agree with your argument. bitcoin too strong position so it is difficult for other coins following the achievement of the bitcoin. While the competition happens on the coin's other try mutual race to be superior and approached the bitcoin.

Yeah, I trust this for sure buddy. I think looking at the prices f BTC since its invention till now, seems there's no coin to be compared with it.

absolutely right. other coins still too far under the bitcoin so I think it will be hard to overtake bitcoin. with this they were able to survive in market conditions and compete in it in order to stay alive it's been more than enough.
-
Bitcoin definitely has competition! There are several issue with bitcoin which are solved by other cryptocurrencies
Slow transactions which can take upto an hour
High transaction fees
Internal/governance issues

Yes, I agree with what you say, yes, that Bitcoin has no competitors, because bitcoin is the first and different crypto coin from the altcoin. so I think Bitcoin is a unique coin, and this is one of the advantages of bitcoin.

If we talk about bitcoin with altcoin it is like a king with an empress.
The king is only one in a kingdom, but the empress can be more than one. The point is that the King (bitcoin) cannot be compared to the empress (Altcoin), the King remains king and is different class from the empress. Bitcoin is in a higher level / row, and cannot be compared to lower classes.
We are not talking about the price, but we are talking about the resilience, robustness, stability. Once again I say that bitcoin can’t be compared with other coins in any form because we are talking about the different thing.
-
bitcoin still occupies the top rank in the cripto world, but there are still more who will compete with bitcoin like other coins. And it may take a little time to exceed bitcoin ..

Yes i'm thinking too that theres no coin tha can compete closer to bitcoin, because in crypto currency market bitcoin so very strong compare to any altcoins available in the market.
-
in my opinion ethereum Just like bitcoin, ether tokens are written from a blockchain network called Etherum. Initiated by former Bitcoin Monthly writer Etherum launched in 2014 to continue decentralization.

No, I see Bitcoin has more competitor. There is many potential altcoins now.
-
bitcoin until now is still a leader in crypto, there is no other coin that can match bitcoin ..

I think ethereum is main competitor for bitcoin. It is a threat to bitcoin. It will replace bitcoin at the future.
-
Generally agree 100%. But if I were to really try and gaze into my crystal ball, there's only 1 other token out there that could spike momentarily and supersede Bitcoin, and that's the oddball Tether. The conditions would need to be quite specific for that to happen but are pretty slim anyway.. so nah don't think it would happen.
-
Some altcoins that appear today are bitcoin competitors. They work hard to pursue Bitcoin for the future. New coin developers even deliberately make these coins superior to Bitcoin. But Bitcoin is Bitcoin. Bitcoin will still occupy the first position and is hard to beat.
-
Yes with the current market status of some crypto i can say that bitcoin looks like no rival in the crypto market because known profitable altcoins are still very far behind compare to bitcoin in almost all aspect.
-
Bitcoin, despite a long fall, will always be a leader. Even if someone overtakes him in trading, he will not cease to be a valuable asset for millions of people.
-
It is true that Bitcoin is very hard to fight because of the natural system that is made and difficult to deal with.
There are altcoins like Ethereum or RIpple that are still far from their hopes of fighting Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the parent of cryptocurrency so that no one can replace it, but if Altcoin wants to outperform it, of course Altcoin must try hard for it. And now Bitcoin is the parent because many want it and it is not impossible if Bitcoin will have a competitor strong and Bitcoin can be defeated, and in my opinion it can happen

I agree mate. I think Bitcoin still has competitors, like ethereum, EOS, NEO, ripple etc. They are also very potential coin.
-
bitcoin has strong strength and market share so that in my opinion bitcoin cannot be matched by other coins and bitcoin is also a measure of several other coins.
