I was always wondering what will happen to my Bitcoins if I divorce? By the law, my wifi needs to get 50% of all the bitcoins?

You don't have to share your bitcoin if nobody knows you have bitcoin. Btw, you married with your "wifi"? Good for you. :D

It depends on many factors. For example, does your wife know about your investments in bitcoin, about the number of your coins? You also need to consider the country in which you live. The laws are very different.

You are a good husband mate. You share your bitcoin with your wife.

It depends on the laws in your country. Anyway, chances are you'll have to share it with your partner. But is still best to consult a lawyer.

It depends on many factors, country where you live, if your wife knows abot your bitcoin and if she can prove that you still hold it..however I reccomend to consult a lawyer too in a case such like this.

wifi? I have to wait a long time to understand your post. why does your wife want bitcoin? can your wife trade crypto? If you give 50% then your wife will make a mistake by selling your bitcoin at a cheap price.

In regards to divorce it's automatically that the both assets of a man and a woman that married has the right to have 50% of all the assets of both side and that's by the law. If bitcoin is known by your wife therefore it is considered as your assets so your wife need to get that 50% and that's the rules so you have nothing to do with that even your wife doesn't have knowledge about that you need to give that share to properly obey the law.
