Title: Do your friends or your family think BTC is a fad that will fade away?
Post by: Rabia on August 26, 2018, 08:50:04 AM
My friends like to give me crap about BTC. They say it’s a waste of money and will eventually crash. My wife thinks it’s a fad and will be gone in a year. That once the hype is gone people will move on to something else. It makes it hard to invest when your wife isn’t on board. Especially when your a miner and it’s noisy with high electric bills. I’m sure many have faced this with people they are close to. I get sick of the negativity about it when they don’t even have a clue what it is and won’t even listen to an explanation. It’s frustrating.

It the same criticism that they say that Bitcoin is a bubble that it will burst anytime. What i did is i show them proof of my earning like cash withdrawals, i buy assets and bank account balances that cannot be save if i will just rely from my salary. By showing them some of my relatives  and close friends were convinced lately to join Bitcoin investments.

Some of my friends who don't believe in bitcoin say that bitcoin is like an item, which the owner will leave if he is bored. Bitcoin will be replaced with new technology again and this means that bitcoin will die and has no value anymore.

@universe, ohh, I'm sad to hear that. Even though there are many benefits we can get from bitcoin, especially financial benefits. Hopefully people like your friends can open themselves to bitcoin because if they know what bitcoin is and its performance, they will look at bitcoin as we now love it.

You don't have to listen to them, let them say whatever they want. One thing that they should know is when bitcoin price is rising again and reach more than $20k, and then you can show to your friends that what you believe gives something for your life. No matter they say bitcoin will crash bla bla bla, you should stay focus in cryptocurrency because this is for your life and not other people lives. I have seen much negativity of cryptocurrency, but I don't overthink with them.
