It's been almost 8 months now since the bear market hit, but it was following a ridiculous bull market last year, so it was (to some extent) expected. Whether we start to see some recovery signs before the end of the year is anyone's guess, but with a bit of patience, markets always rise and fall, so stick around long enough and you'll reap the rewards (as long as you didn't buy up a load of sh*tcoins).

A lot of people as well are looking forward to ICOs they invested to bring returns … that is not far off in the future and I expect once that starts going on for BTC to hit more all time highs

With the current successive dips in the crypto market, I believe cryptocurrency like btc my end it's bear market soon. Thus, bullish market will again dominate the crypto market again. However, I do not disregard that this dips may still be experience over and over again due to volatility of the crypto market. I guess will just have to hold more until the right time comes for it will be real in the last quarter of this year.

if this year our base is very low, almost all of the coins are dropped. Many speculations at the end of this year or next year will return to its former value and be more higher value. I'm One of believes that will return back sooner. So it's better now to buy and hold first. Wait longer.

This really hurts me for this year. because with the fall in the price of Bitcoin makes all the Altcoins that I trade really go down following the price of bitcoin. so when the price of bitcoin falls for now, I want to see prices rise again for the end of this year.

For me this is a very good opportunity to buy good and potential Coins in Altcoin. Because prices tend to be cheap. We all have to agree the bull was insane, $500 to $20000, imagine all those people that have been saving serious amounts long term believing in it, one day they wake up to a nice pay day. I remember thinking that it will drop at $2000, and I pretty much missed all that crazy rise.

Yes, we see now the market has shown price increases even though only a few percent. but the price increase meant a lot to us, we are now feeling sick because of the decline in bitcoin prices in the past month. Yes, it's better to wait for prices to rise again rather than sell with losses at hand. Today many Altcoins are very cheap on the market. if you have a lot of capital, it's good to buy it for now.

ETF may be the first factor to trigger the bullrun, but I don't know it seems unlikely to happen soon even though ETF can be approved by SEC. As it starts getting some traction and recognition in the community, people start turning their attention and rigs towards it making it more difficult to mine with every new rig that enters its network.

You are right that waiting itself does nothing, if no new buyers arrive that would want your tokens.
Trading at least increases some metrics that can be used to say that the crypto-world is still alive.
Both will be useless if no real use cases arrive. The media wont pick up on traders, they care about successful companies and products.

What exactly currency do you mean? I am already interested in crypto for some time but I am not sure if we think about the same. Whole 2018 year has been bad for all the coins. All the coins dropped hard last year even this year so far market did not quite stable. Still I am positive sooner we will see huge recovery in the market because selling coin in loss will not be a wise decision. Even I buy some good potential coin in this bear market because I believe in crypto market it will rise back and give us good profit in long-term and this market is not for impatient people.

Bear market is really a difficult time, but it also gives us opportunity to choose and buy coins because they are in their low prices. Most of my investments on altcoins dropped a mind-blowing 97% to 99% in value but life goes on because this industry
is really unpredictable and no one really knows what's gonna happen next. At this point in time, the bear market has
already ended and the bull market is charging to its glorious upward movement!

For me I have being waiting for the rise of altcoins while am still investing in some altcoins but sometimes I feel disappointed for just looking how slow the crypto market was last year that actually affected the value of the altcoins am holding in my wallet but I have no choice but to continued waiting until the market get much better this year 2019.

Do not confuse the stock market with the cryptocurrency market.Financial ratios are not quite correct for investing in a particular altcoin.
They do not have sufficient independence and are very much tied to the movement of bitcoin and the news background.

Altcoins have already been in a price decline for two years, but I see no real reason for this, except for the usual speculation with the price of bitcoin and its dominance in the cryptocurrency market. Such a state in this market is unlikely to last several more years. In my opinion, none of the participants in this market is profitable for a long drop in altcoins.

Likewise also im still here waiting for the altcoins to recover but its almost a year already past and nothing was happen. the altcoins exodus continues to hit in the whole altcoins market except for the stablecoins, i think its a natural process of killing those unneeded altcoins in the market so stay positive that it will be more better in 2020.

I completely agree with you. Now you don’t need to panic, but you need to buy various coins for storage so that when the bulls come to get their profit. Because there is always a price increase following a fall in prices.

I am very worried about the fact that altcoins will fall further and there will be no strong growth. you can wait for ever if you are not a trader. the worst is that you will watch your altcoins depreciate from a better price to zero. the longer you wait, the worst it becomes. it is quite awful that projects these days loose value the moment they hit the market and tends to continue that way without help. crypto is really gettng worst.
