I asked for a loan to resolve some personal expenses and I still have about $1200 left, I have the intention to invest this money and with all the cryptocurrency uproar I do believe this new universe is probably the best place to invest this money, (if I'm wrong, let me know)
Now, I have two main ideas, either I purchase $1200 worth of bitcoins and hold on to them expecting a higher capitalization, or I invest in mining equipment to mine some altcoins.
I currently have a gaming rig with a R9 270X card, which, for mining purposes is profiting me about $20 a week.
What would you suggest me to do?

if I suggest especially to address the state of the crypto market that is experiencing critical conditions.
do not panic.
use the opportunity to buy as much bitcoin and altcoin as possible
don't listen to news or negative issues.

I suggest to you to go to what is your best choice where you have much knowledge and confidence that doing something which you lack of experience but because of big profit you are tempted, this would not save you from the big lost.

I suggest pick the best altcoins like ethereum for you to have much better opportunities when the market recover. Ethereum now is low price that you can buy 4 pcs then the rest of your money put in some potential coins.

A bull run is coming. If I were in your position, I would look for maybe 5 quality altcoins to invest into.

if I can give an opinion, try to invest your money to buy altcoins, of course the coins you have to buy are cheap coins that have great potential.
you have to remember the big coins now were also cheap. btc, eth, they met at a price of 1 usd.
so why don't you buy cheap coins under 1 usd and hold it until the value goes up so sharply.

that's right.
We know, good crypto project will not guarantee the price will rise quickly (this year and next year), but at least it may be more stable because of more adopters, based on the functions as a utility token.
But, I guess, o.p. ask to get short-term profits as soon as possible, so holding coin is not a good choice I think

I think trading earn you more money especially you have a big capital, trade with stable coins, I suggest you not to trade with bitcoin theres so many coins out there that will lead you to success! Happy Trading.

Yeah i agree on you mate. Trading will give you good profits if you have a good skills and knowledge as the price can swing by 10 -20% even in a bearish trend.

I think that mining is too expensive and your budget for that is too low.. it's better to buy and hold some good coins like BTC and ETH that are very low now.
