Hello everyone,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you guys give me some answers

Bitcoin is independent, does not take sides, does not favor the government or the party of the trader.
For example, a Bitcoin holder cannot blame a third person if the private he holds is lost.

Is Bitcoin really secure?
It's as secure as whatever device you're using is secure. While the bitcoin system itself is pretty much invulnerable to being hacked, mainly due to the nature of blockchain technology in general, your computer is susceptible to being compromised. If you download a bunch of random shit all the time, then it wont be as secure. Hardware wallets are even more secure as well, so if you lock your tokens in that it's pretty much impossible for anyone to "hack" them out.
What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?
This is really not possible. The entire bitcoin system would all need to be hacked simultaneously due to the nature of how blockchain functions. As soon as a wallet came online with the wrong information, all the other wallets and nodes on the bitcoin network would verify that it's a fraud, and invalidate it. There's no central system to attack either. Never say never, but I don't think it's ever being hacked.
Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins?
Again, the nature of blockchain technology is what defends bitcoin from being hacked. You don't really need any extra security measures. The only thing you can really worry about is someone spoofing your connection to an online wallet or exchange wallet or something like that and then they basically steal your credentials and info that way. But that's more on human error, not on the bitcoin network. It is as secure as you allow it to be. Some people only use a computer that doesn't connect to the internet to manage their bitcoin.
Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market?
It's not really possible to block it, honestly. People will use it to buy illegal things, and that's something that can't really be stopped. Anyone can use or send bitcoin if they can connect to the internet. I suppose your ISP could monitor your traffic and block any bitcoin wallet addresses or something like that, but I'd say that's pretty much never happening. There are many ways around that as well, like using a VPN. It's probably not worth attempting to block it.
What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
Again, same thing. They can't really ban it because there's no central thing to ban. If you can access the internet, you can trade bitcoin. ISP's can possibly block transactions but it's not really feasible to block them all, and people will likely find ways around it, such as VPNs. Some banks have even tried to disallow people from purchasing bitcoin through them, but they eventually cave when people threaten to take their money to another bank. You could stop bitcoin if you somehow shutdown the internet in general, but I'm pretty confident people would riot if the government attempted to do that, at least in the united states.
Hopefully this clears some things up for you.

of course for us bitcoin is also very safe to use every day, by getting more profits.
-
the government does not prohibit and does not block the illegal use, because the government has agreed but only 50% does not have the right to prohibit it
-
Bitcoin if I think God willing, it's safe - just because bitcoin is at the top level and bitcoin can be used as a benchmark or a standard price measure for other coins
-
Bitcoin is secured because it is build on the decentralized blockchain technology which offers a secured, transparent immutable and trustless transactions. The security of your cryptocurencies lies in your hands . The internet is full of hackers and scammers that are out to steal your hard earn crypto coins. So it is your duty to safe guard your coins by using hardware wallets or installing a good anti-virus that can detect malicious software and other threats.

for us you are not worried about your investment in bitcoin, because it is also very safe and believes you can make a profit every day. because the growth of bitcoin prices every day is also increasing.
-
I think bitcoin is really safe because bitcoin is designed with high level of security and hard to track. Even if Bitcoin is opened with a sophisticated computer, it takes at least 5 years to do that.
-
In terms of investment i can really sure that bitcoin is very safe to invest most especially if it is invested in long term because of its volatile characteristics.
