Title: What is the Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs)?
Post by: cryptoc on August 30, 2018, 07:14:08 AM

ICO is a popular method of raising startup funds in the form of cryptocurrency. It’s a process of raising funds for the new project by encouraging investors to pay with cryptocurrency.

ICO is just like buying shares in a company, but this time in cryptocurrency. ICO is also likened to crowdfunding, as you would see for computer games. Though in all this, investors (angel investors and venture capitalists) are always encouraged to pay in virtual currencies. Usually, the investors pay with popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). BTC and ETH are the predominant cryptocurrencies.

Initial coin offering (ICO) is a choice for teams to increase money for a new projects in the cryptocurrency world.

Unless an ICO is being managed by a very credible team or the project has already created a name for itself, many investors and supporters are preferring to join and support IEOs or those done in credible cryptocurrency exchanges.

Well, now the trending niche (since first 2018 actually) is the Initial Exchange Offering made by major big exchanges, so no more " Good " ICOs out there to spend you money buying their token / coin anymore.
The ICO business was kind of doomed since more than 2 years now, hard to get back to where they were before because of the scams they made in crypto. Most people would tend to buy the coin when it hit the exchange with cheaper prices.

ICO is a good way to attract a day for the development of your project, but according to statistics, not so many projects are completed successfully, or the team that received the money makes mistakes in the development of the project and wastes money
