Surprise—Eminem just dropped a new album called Kamikaze. With the release of Eminem’s new album, ‘Kamikaze,’ fans found in addition to the usual fare from Eminem, a small Bitcoin reference from a guest rapper.
The album was launched on midnight Thursday in a surprise announcement by Eminem, according to reports. His previous release was “Revival” in December 2017.
While the crypto citation is unlikely to bump the price of bitcoin, it comes as the latest mainstream entertainment industry refers to the top cryptocurrency by market valuation.
Eminem teamed up with longtime collaborator Dr. Dre to executive-produce the album. The 13-track album features artists Joyner Lucas, Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg, Royce Da 5’9″ and Jessie Reyez. The album also includes Eminem’s track from upcoming Marvel villain movie “Venom,” starring Tom Hardy.
While this is hardly an earth-shattering celebrity endorsement, it is always nice to see the mainstream acknowledging cryptocurrency.
