Title: Cash on the blockchain the ultimate idea?
Post by: moonking on September 01, 2018, 01:35:12 PM
Shortly after bitcoin came out, I thought to myself wouldn't it be cool to have cash on the blockchain.  After all bitcoin got popular because it cannot be faked easily.  Also some people don't like banks, or simply cannot trust them in their country, well tether can be held in online wallet, no need to keep cash under a pillow.  Now tether itself seems a little bit expensive to send, place where I tried asked 2$ transaction fee, but I'm sure someone could create a dollar pegged coin cheaper to send.

yes, it's really true of what you say, that one day it's not cool to use cash, and digital money will be better and more convenient in storage.

And that's the function of Tether or trueUSD.
Many functions can be taken from the Tether or other stable coins because it is certain that they are stable coins, while the cryptocurrency is not stable.

Yes we need coin/token with rather stable coin, with very low cost transaction. USDT is stable coin the price always around $1, but fee transaction I don't know how much. I am prefer ripple and doge for transfer for now.
