Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed.
I tend to agree in parts with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory of this kind of cryptos are the altcoinss with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed.
Please, Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!

That is only their opinion and maybe will not be true there are some ALtcoins that are supported or sponsored by some huge companies and some Utility tokens that will help the economy is going to be big in the near future so i'm sure Altcoins will survive even in next many years.

It is true if they say some altcoins may not survive with current market condition but it doesn't mean all altcoins cannot survive. The valuable and useful coins will always continue to survive. They will improve their selves to be better crypto coins.

Our opinion The price of bitcoin has skyrocketed so that other altcoin prices will definitely go down, but not all alcoins will go down, and can last longer, most likely small coins will go down and not last long, except ethereum or a strong enough equivalent to survive longer.

A lot has changed in the past years and many projects have a strong concept with their cryptocurrency. Backing of a strong business and huge infrastructure means altcoins can not die so easily. With the adoption of business concepts, altcoins will gain popularity. Its a revolution which is still in its early phase.
More projects will come in near future with even stronger business ideas. We're glad we are in this industry so early, it remains a lot to grow and all of us will benefit from its growth.

I dont think so that altcoins will not survive, There are many altcoins which comes with the great teams and idea and they are standing tall as well. Peoples are trading with those alts daily and you can see the growth also, so this will not die easily in near future.

Of course a lot of altcoins will disappear again, we don't need 2500 coins, some will merge and some is a scam. The perfect number of coins will be between 50 to 100 different coins.

There seems to be an explosion of BTC maximalists this last bit slamming alts every chance they get.
Alts are driving innovation and constantly bringing new things to the table, they are not going anywhere. Of course some will fail, it is not an easy thing to do.

They are somewhat right you know. Launching a ICO is not easy and even if you launch one, there is no guarantee about its success. I was reading somewhere that more than 90% of 2018 ICO failed to attain the objectives set by them. You need to invest smartly.

I think it's true that altcoin is currently experiencing a decline. And I agree because everyone has a different view. Some say coins / tokens A are good but some say the opposite. I think the advantages and disadvantages are in each other's hands

most altcoins will die because most altcoins are a scam or useless projects and that is a fact but strong solid altcoins will not just die because they usually have what it takes to survive, I know that there are some altcoins suffering right now like NEM but I am pretty sure NEM will find a way out because it is not just another useless coin.

Yea, i think most of these statement are just wishfull thinking, and this may not happen soon. One thing of note here is that many of these coins brings in competition into the market; the fewer they are, the lesser the competition will be.
I actually think that many coins will go but remember that till date, many projects are still being lunched on a daily bases and i wonder when will some of them disappear as some people are saying.

I do not believe that all altcoins would die any way.
But if you look critically into the Cryptocurrency market of late , you would discover to your amazement that some altcoins that do not have any usecases and whose team do not even know how to work on the project are gradually fading off from the market especially since the bearing trend of last year.

People can speak anything we all are free to say anything about any coins. Even everyone has different different views about the coins. Yes I also agree that there are many altcoins that has no roadmap or any vision will not survive in long term in bearish market. We need some diversity in that things anyway to get it going. I still bet many will be receiving some income from all that things really. There are so many though so I highly doubt that some of them will exists anyway, but we need to keep inventing until they stabilised.

You must not listen to anything that people say, sometimes you need your own evaluation in order to understand the real thing, altcoins are not just like that, they are an upgraded version of bitcoin with different purposes and I don't think that only bitcoin alone will survive the market.

The people saying altcoins won't survive must come out with names because we're all aware that not all the numerous altcoins hitting the market each time will survive. To counter the claims, there are also some altcoins like ETH, BNB, Stellar etc which are already surviving and has got all it takes to stay alive on the market.

one thing I know for sure is that many altcoin will not survive the struggle, some already died of before now while many are still struggling to keep up. BTW some altcoin will still be in the market on the long-run

Many new competitors will shift the position of old altcoins if they don't develop the project well, there are already many projects dead because they are abandoned by developers. To me, altcoins will survive, but of course not all of them! Not every altcoin is a promising one and has the potential to grow up. Plenty of them will fall sooner or later. On the other hand, some top altcoins could be even a "next bitcoin", like for example Ripple or Litecoin.

I am quite sure that a significant part of the Altcoins will still survive after the last longest period of the bear market. Only useless coins and tokens will leave the market. This is a normal process for the further development of the cryptocurrency market. I especially hope for tokens. Don't heed upon any person's words. Altcoins will survive if BTC will survive but few shitcoins will destroy because it is need to destroy for the crypto market's shake. Maximum altcoins are good but few are worthless, this worthless tokens will die after few days.

i agree on the part that many alts will die but 90% is just too much to realized. there maybe 30 - 40% from the current alts but it wold be replace by the growing numbera of lroject that emerges to the blockchain. i am still confident that alts will have a better prices in the next few years. this isnt good year for them but hopefully, alts can recover in the future.

positive and negative when many coins are created and available on the exchange. the positive thing that I got when a new coin was created was that I could see how crypto was developing and getting better. The developer wants to show their technology and create better coins than before. negative thing that I see when many coins are created, there is competition between one project with other projects that affect the value of their coins. that's what makes the number of coins that are not able to survive and the end has no value.

That is already the norm today and I can see that it will continue forever like this for some coins. Why? There is not much regulation for this and we can't avoid it. Take for example neo project. Before so much hype speculated how good is this and will probably replace eth but its just only at thr beginning see where it now? Just quiet about their progress and not much noise. I can see tron and eos advance more than neo. They now on par with eth in terms of dapp. Also there are new coins Ive never heard of but seems working good. That's why I can say it just a continous loop of ssme over and over process again.

Altcoin will die if the atcoin does not have the trust of the community, because that way no one will buy and hold the Altcoin so that altcoin will have no value and will disappear from the market. In contrast to Altcoin which has great trust from the public, then the altcoin will continue to be bought and detained to benefit in the future. That's only a pure speculation no one can predict that actually, Altcoins are thousands in existence its very impossible to wipe all the 90% not taking into consideration that altcoins are raising in numbers due to new project. if that happen that's a major crisis and i think even bitcoin itself wont survive.

I tend to agree in parts with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory of this kind of cryptos are the altcoinss with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed.

Poor marketing has been the major cause of good project and their downfall. there are bad project that offered nothing but pump a huge money into the market to keep their project alive. Tron was one of them that offered nothing but a copycat of different project.
