Thank you for sharing good information for us. Your posts will remind us and newbie here to be more careful about saving our bitcoin. Because we know lately there are many hacking that harm many people.
-
One more I want to add. Don't carelessly click on some links that are often served on your screen. This is very dangerous. Some people have complained that their BTC coins disappear after opening the link that appears on their PC screen when they are online.
-
Password is the very key to open the close wallet. Without your password you couldn't access your wallet forever specially if you forgot. Be careful and responsible.

For me I prefer to keep my bitcoin investment in MEW Myetherwallet because it is more safer than keeping investment in stock exchange market but we just make sure that our private keys are stored in safe and in offline storage to keep away from any hackers.

Good idea then but anyone can actually use any trusted soft or hard wallets that is not listed in your list. For me, the basic idea of keeping your bitcoin from hacker is to be vigilant at all times and never just trust anyone you acquainted online. Security always starts from us on how we do protect our assets.
-
Thanks for your sharing. I personally save it on the hard drive!
-
I think for online websites or online wallets it's very risky to try.
Because now there are so many dangerous websites that can steal our Bitcoin in it.

Same as you sir, I am using blockchain for bitcoin and my Ethereum Wallet for Ethereum and ERC20 based token. I sometimes use coinbase for Ethereum and bitcoin transfer.
-
Good advice but when the hacker attacks all the methods goes to useless . i suffer that problem when my full system was hacked . i was unable to send with any text or bitcoin address . :'(
-
Currently I’m keeping all of my Bitcoin in Trezor and updates it whenever the new firmware come out. And I never click in the strange link on the web too
-
Online storage of bitcoin is usually prone to hacking, so hardware wallet is the best for now especially when it involves long term storage.
-

It is true, now there are so many phishers that use links, not only the links that appear on PC screens, links from emails with sources that are not clear are also vulnerable. Airdrop with a link is also vulnerable, some of my friends' wallets have also been stolen due to too much airdrop. 2FA is a mandatory menu in my opinion.
-
That's all right, thanks to the author, but there is something else. No need to click on suspicious links that can activate dangerous worms and be more careful with the sites you are viewing!

Yes, of course. We should save the bitcoin from hacker. I think every online transaction is hackable. So, You should keep the paswwor and privat key.
-
You can keep your bitcoin in Trezor wallet. It is safe from hackers. Trezor wallet is best to keep your coins.
-
yes if I still have bitcoin then I will save and hold it until the price of bitcoin can be more expensive than the price in 2017.
-
The best way to keep safe your coins is to use Ledger Nano S, nano support bitcoin and over 40 cryptocurrencies ,its cheap and your private key is never exposed.
-
Very important and effective information. Two days last very much crucial event occurred cryptopia account hacked. It is very sad news.... Hence I always try to keep my wallet safe and secure
-
Yes, we tend to forget about the security and it can be easily overused by hackers to steal our money :/ . That is why I chose to exchange my crypto with CoinDeal. They take pride in their security systhem. If you're interested, click here (https://coindeal.com/security) ;)

I think that safe or not it’s depend on our behavior how to use the internet safety by not clicking in the anonymous phishing link or website
-
Then how to secure Bitcoin for Hardware Wallet?
I think the OP is not eager to make threads, because it is seen from the aspect of the making of threads that it is not informative. ???
-
I am also safe for my bitcoin hackers. because the wallet that I use is also good and I also use my private key and I add a 2F key so that for me it will also remain safe.
-
Nowadays more and more new methods were used by hackers to steal our information, we should always carefully keep our assets safety
-
The most important here is how we manage the wallet. It is very important to be carefull to manage the BTC wallet. If we cannot manage it well, there are big chances for being hacked. Anyway, for the safest place to keep BTC if we don't trade it is hard wallet. I agree if we are better to store our BTC there.
-
Just don't click on phishing site i think you will be protected from hacker.
-

Naturally, we ourselves are responsible for the safety of our funds and this is very good. Because it is better to rely on yourself, and not on intermediaries. Safety needs to be studied first. This concerns not only cryptocurrency, but also the Internet as a whole. Scammers cheat only inexperienced users.
-
the same thing, I also use hard wallets and online wallets, for me it's also a safe way to save my bitcoin or altcoin, and it's also easy.
-
Actually so far, I'm still using online wallets and I know that it is very risky for the security. Although applying a complicated password and two-step authentication, the hacker is still possible to hack them. However, so far, I still don't have any idea to use the hardware wallet. Although it is safer enough, it is more expensive.
I only have small amount of BTC, that is why I still consider using online wallets.
-
if I think that depends on how to save it, if you save well and be careful, I'm sure your bitcoin will also be safe, especially you can also save your private key, so for me it will also be safe.
-
Thanks for that piece of information now my account and secure i realize that there are many hacker..... I got hack one's on my fB acc and it ruined my information ...
Hey crypto i someone gets hacked on crypto can you track the hacker
-
can hackers attack at the Coinbase wallet?
-
As long as I join the cryptocurrency business and hold a number of altcoins including bitcoin, I have never experienced theft in my wallet. Always keep a wallet key and don't tell others. Even the closest person.
-
For crime, in my opinion there is no safe word. Especially the crypt wallet wallet hacking case. As good as the security that we have tried, we still have to be careful.
-
Hacking crime is very troubling. We must really lock our crypto wallet to be safe from hackers. If we need to install a double key.
-
The best way to keep your bitcoin is safe is by using a hardware wallet.
Hardware wallets such as Ledger, Trezor, or KeepKey are very safe since they are completely off-the-grid.
-
For me the best place to keep our bitcoins is hardware wallet because it is offline and we can make use of it at any given point in time...
-
I would like to suggest, don't keep your coin for long time on exchange or any other web wallet that you don't have access of private key. If you want to hold any coin for long time then you should move your fund on your own wallet which you have access private key. For check your balance don't need to open wallet every day. You could check your balance by explorer like etherscan. Login everdys might would be another opportunity for hackers.
-
Thanks for this piece of information. Now I will try to secure my account from hackers
-
can hackers attack at the Coinbase wallet?
Sorry nobody has answered your question is two weeks ::) it depends what you mean, the mobile wallet or the exchange really.
If you mean the mobile wallet then you shouldn't trust it that much in my opinion, only with smaller cash amounts (like you would your fiat wallet).
-
The best way to keep your bitcoins safe from hackers is to keep changing your crypto wallet passwords. Hackers always attack those wallets which have the long-term unchanged passwords. Paper wallet is another precautinary measure in this regard. Am I right folks?
-
This is a great information though.. But wouod have preferred you to tell people to be very careful with there private keys and passwords because this are one of the essential practice in safeguarding wallets...
-
Wow cool post thanks for sharing but ....i hope you share this on PH forum because a lot people are not checking their wallet they .....ahmmm.. Must secure their wallet from hackers...because millions of hacker spreading ...but i hope the internet agent track them .
