I think it is natural process A company raises money sells eth develops their product. Once those companies will start making profit and see how cheap the eth is the price will start going steady up . So just waiting for the price of eth to be irresistibly cheap

I think all recent ico s are dumping their raised etheruem ,to pay for staff wages ,expenses in setting up the icos.when they see others selling.they are all panic the price will still slide for days to come..

In my opinion, Ehereum price falls down significantly because of the effect of global decline trend. Bitcoin and all altcoins have experienced negative price development. So, ETH also got the same condition currently.

I think because eth has too many competitors. so eth needs a lot of development to get more attention in the cryrpto world. the main cause is the reduction of ETH coin buyers, wherein the inverters are fooled by some issues regarding the prohibitions of various parties, both from the state government itself and from other parties

Good point here. Most of us do not recognize that ethereum has more competitors now and that investors and users are moving to another platform. This has caused a significant decrease of buyers.

Maybe this is a part of effective strategy of the core team to multiply the percentage of investors. This ethereum is not shitcoin that can easily be wipe in crypto world. Ethereum will survive and can go beyond from decline.

I think yes one of many reason ethereum price goes down because the developer of ICOs projects has solt their ethereum from crowdfunding in ICOs stage but in my personal opinions the main problem why ethereum's price goes down because the price of bitcoin is down, all of cryptocurrencies price follow the price of bitcoin, so do with the ethereum's price.

Mr. tamango, i think you have not missed anything yet, the situation of ETH has got many us wondering but i think that crypto market is volitil couple with certain factors like, prices speculations, Fear of investment lost due to price fall (panic selling), demand and supply rules etc. Remember that ETH has got some smart contract competetors like Neo, EOS, Wave. Nevertheless, do not worry, everything gonna be fine as the price will definitely recover with just little time.

Eth has been in bearish trend since February this year. I think the most reason why ethereum is in bearish trend is because of the scam projects build on ethereum platform.Many investors has lose money by investing in to scam projects.

Its a long days have passed the topic was started .no problem the market is still on downtrend .All cryptiocurrencies are now bear momentum .I cant predict when the market will recover .Hopefully we will see a next yearn move .Waiting for the next year.

I think it is Russians that are monotoring and gathering circulation of Ethereum which has the largest platform crypto world ever had. So in that reason ethereum is falling and we could see maybe 80$ end of year but in the next bull run without any arguments its is record price value!

Ethereum is one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world by market capitalization and is facing major devaluation as its value has been dropping at a major scale since last month. Let's see the factors that led to the downfall of Ethereum -
1) Firstly, the introduction of a new BitMEX - ETH perpetual swap contract, which allowed traders to shorten the price of ETH with up to 100x leverage in a similar manner like the XBT (BTC) BitMEX contract. Although this has not been confirmed, this statistic has led to the speculation that the arrival of the contract allowed pessimistic investors to weigh down on the price of ETH.
2) The ICO sell-off factor, with many traders claiming that projects have begun to liquidate their war chests, that are often full of Ether, into fiat, leading to the current collapse of the market, not only ETH.
Even though the Ethereum price has declined, 2019 looks bright for Ethereum as HTC Blockchain Phone Exodus 1(which is only accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum) is expected to launch on December 29,2018. The Ethereum price is expected to reach around $1450 in 2019.

Maybe but I think this is not the major factor why ETH drastically dropped, there was something behind of it. Base some rumors because of decline trend where as all altcoins and bitcoin experience also the beaeish market. Soon I believed they will recover.

One of the reasons is ICO project selling their entire holdings is high, the same cannot be predicted on the demand side which keeps fluctuating.

I think the ERC20 sales are definitely one of the points affecting the eth price, but there is also the matter of the clogging of the network that happened several times during last year... it definitely shows that eth is not scalable unless certain probles are solved... cryptokitties was a good test...
Last time i heard the devs were preparing the implementation of a major update... so let's hope these prices reflect the bottom...

If there are somebody bought large volume of ethereum at low price. The value of ethereum will instantly crash. Expect the slowly progress. But I think ethereum will going better few days from now.
