There were hundreds of ICOs in 2017 and even more in 2018. According to a study (don't remember the source), more than 70% of them were scams and they all decided to liquidate their ethers at the same time which was the major contributing factor to the fall in prices of ethereum. It'll stabilize after some time.

Yes, i think that fake news about the use ETH by scammers to lunch scam project on ETH platform has also lead to the fall in its price in recent time. I also think that market speculation by traders, panic selling by Hoders etc, has contributed to this fall.

Thats attributed to the price as well. The smart contract by eth is really a good product that has been introduced on the cryptomarket. Many used it to perform ICOs to launch their own project and still being utilize until now. But the problem here are its so easy to learn on how to do it in a manner of tutorial plus professional can easily learn it. Im not totally believe that this is the cause alone. Why? Eth has no development incurred on the last 6months from it roadmap. Investors are looking for growth with this type of project. In addition, fuds are spawning everywhere regarding scam icos using eth. I can see this can be reverse once casper protocol iniaited right away.

There is several reason why ethereum is going down. I think The value of bitcoin affect ethereum and he negative issue against ethereum.

I think ethereum might make everyone nervous and panic, what's more for beginners who only invest their money in panic, and in my analysis ethereum prices will rise again and skyrocket in price, so for beginners don't panic and sell your coins when the price drops, you have to be patient and wait patiently for him.

Almost 15% now loss. It's easy to understand mate. Eth has been pegged and paired with a lots of coins/tokens right? There is a tendency that some funds are being move to ICO projects as eth price slightly cheaper and can benefit on investing it on some solid ICO. It's not that eth is not legit but some user traded them.for these kind of reasons. Mostly are traders than investors that why its stumble like that.

For me there is also a reason aside from crypto crisis. Vitalik commented non sense statement on his twitter account which attributed to this declined on the prices. Of course he has many followers, saying a negative statement could be an easy plummeted on investors confidence. Plus he regain his statement which also put confusion on which trajectory of decision his onto. That's how news can pulled down a price in crypto market. One good news can pump the price, vice versa on the other way around on my opinion.

I think maybe ethereum went down because the value of bitcoin that could affect ethereum and make everyone nervous and panicked again for a beginner who only invested their money. and according to my analysis ethereum prices will rise again. so for beginners don't panic you have to be patient and wait.

In my opinion Ethereum went down because of the large number of Ethereum users who sold their coins together with big jumblahs and caused the ETH price to go down. That is followed by the price of tokens in other ALtcoin here.

In my opinion,the reason why Ethereum market price value are decreasing because some of the investors are selling their coin because they are afraid of contineous falling of the market price value on Ethereum.
This reason is one of only few reason. This kind of reason is for newbie who are panicking that their eth coins will be sold in less than or afraid to lose value. Also, one and strongest reasons is the investors are buying some good ICO and moving their funds to new projects since eth price are not in good shape now.

I think the reason why ethereum down is bitcoin affect and negative issue. Today many negative issue againts ethereum and In several country, The government bans crypto currency.

For my opinion i think it is because of a very high demand of coin that is why they sell ETH for a very low price.

The last bullish price of eth wasn't expected to rise up by that increase. Now the market is being corrected for it. Cause the price last year wasn't normal and probably like a bubble. If you can see from its previous ATH more than 1k$. The price now is barely to cling and rise even on its half. On middle of this year eth price diminishes throughout each month and factors of it are largely related to btc dump as well. Also add some negative impact of ICO scamming which eth has been blaming due to usage of their platform on performing those scam activity. But Im positive that eth will recover throughout the end of this year.

At present Ethereum is down because of successive sales. I'm sure this will be a bad thing because obviously this will reduce the price of Ethereu. On the other hand there are also many people who are panicking especially Ethereum users and investors who panic and sell their coins. And today the price of Bitcoin has fallen to $3,738.52 dollars when writing this and Ethereum is $104.74 dollars

The bearish market is definitely the reason while Ethereum is down and almost every coins and token are down
too because of this current situation and whenever Bitcoin is dumped everything below the king of cryptocurrency
will be going down too because they are all dependent on Bitcoin's value.

One of the reasons why ETH price is down recently is basically due to rumors and speculation of prices. There were rumors that some big holders of crypto (like, ETH, Bitcoin) and investors are selling off their investments.
