I would not say that trading refers to gambling, but the fact that people do not know how to cope with losses and try to recoup at the same time-makes them dependent. The dependence can be attributed to the disease.

If trading profitable for traders, that will not be a problem if that make addiction, because we can set it as our second job or our main job, and I think this not same with gambling, this like we trading a goods in the markets

I read the article and they don't really mention anything abut losses or hurting loved ones.  If someone is over consumed with crypto but is not loosing money, can we even call it an addiction.  They do mention in the end that it can lead to financial ruin, but all the other signs could be signs of a super dedicated trader.

I agree that trading can be addictive. People tend to spend so much time in exchanges and are taking it to dangerous level spending too much time . The Castle Craig rehab clinic is a very good development for crypto trading addicts

I can believe it. Trading (especially crypto trading with the high level of volatility) is definitely a form of gambling, albeit one with a high level of skill involved. It's one of the reasons why you need to learn quick to remove emotions from the equation, don't get sucked in by FOMO or FUD, otherwise it can be tempting to chase trades. Plan and execute.

Kind of.It all depends on the competence of a particular person-his skills and goals. Also on how much we can take risks and comply with risks.

It's true that trading can be addictive. When someone has benefited from bitcoin or crypto currency trading, he will try again and again. Because we know, the benefits of crypto trading are quite large. It can even beat someone's salary every month.

Cryptocurrency trading should be a way to earn money and not gambling.Gambling people have no place in trade,it's not a game.

Lately I heard that some hospitals opened rehab centers for crypto trading addicts. This can be really trouble for some if they can't learn to control themselves.  Huge gains and losses were made in market, this can be exciting but also addictive.

But It cannot make you addiction if you get nothing and always lose in trading.  ;D  Trading can make addiction only for a successful trader.

This is the most funniest I've ever read so far in this forum. I'd never thought about this possibility. But I believe this thing is totally real.

You are the best way to get profit from alternatives coins is from trading alternatives coins, if we can have system of trading alternatives coins which has active income profit daily, weekly and monthly. Unfortunatelly there are no many people who know about it and in the end they always blame the market of cryptocurrencies, should the people who want really make money from trading alternatives coins, they must learn more about anything about the strategy of trading alternatives coins.

No need to be addicted to trading. You need to have a clear strategy, follow it and know when to stop. You can earn today-and tomorrow lose it all.

Anyone who follow  the crypto market regularly and involve in trading becomes addicted to it, to get it rid of this addiction we should be more aware about the fact that we are here in the money market earning and loosing are the two sides of a coin  and the money is the means and not the end of life .Keep yourself  happy in both the situations and trade.

I disagree with you, in whichever ways you looked at both, i think they are the same thing or mean the same. Let say that no matter the volitility of crypto, it has be learnt to acquire experience, unlike gambling,it is the wagering of money or something of value on an event with an uncertain outcome, with the primary intent of winning money or material goods. while
Trade involves the transfer of goods or services from one person or entity to another, often in exchange for money.

To clarify between trading and gambling is just a thin line.  Gambling is more to playing with a pure luck game whereas trading is more to you know what you are doing and with some skills involve and not just depends on your luck.

Interesting information and I think some traders have a real job besides trading every day, crypto is part of the payment system and investment, some traders can manage their emotions, they have knowledge of how to trade well, I trade at certain hours and I accept some risks when trading, hoping for profit is natural, but experienced traders will manage their time without sadness when the price of coins in the market is declining

Crypto can be addictive in a way a satisfaction if you keep getting the right direction but if you can keep to your risk reward, strategy it is not gambling it is still consider investing. Unless you are at a state of double or nothing everytime then it is more of a gambling concern.

I think trading can become an addiction just like gambling .
The more money you make trading, the more you want to make. So you find yourself unable to do other things fearing you may miss earning opportunities.

The reason why trading seems to be an addiction is because of the way a trader checks prices of coin like every minute.
