Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

At the moment I think the world is not ready to accept crypto. You can see Crypto is currently not safe to use because there are still many weaknesses in the security and unstable prices. If everyone has used cryoto, I'm sure crypto will be good in the future and start to be used in every country.
-
No. Now is not the best time for the cryptocurrency marketplace. It takes 5 years minimum world ready for cryptocurrency :(
-
I think currently the concept is very new to be impactful for all the existing industries and for them to move to the blockchain. There are some promising application but are yet to become mainstream.
-
Not yet . I think the crypto still want more time to mature . the governments won't accept it in near future
-
The fact that governments are still trying to come up with proper regulations for cryptocurrencies tells you that the world is not ready yet.
-
I think the world is ready for cryptocurrency. All media and facilities can support the development of crypto world. The problem is not all countries accept it. I think it should need several years to make them agree with crypto since there are some issues to fix firstly.

Yeah indeed world is ready for cryptocurrency but government and banks are not ready yet!
Universities adopted fees payment in crypto and stores, petrol pump also adopted crypto payments.
Right now crypto market bleeding but don't panic and never sell crypto assets at low price.
Price will be rise again.
-
If many States do not prohibit cryptocurrency and use blockchain technology-the world has long been ready. The question is whether many States want it or not?
-
The world should be ready for cryptocurrency. A new revolution / change happens everyday, the world is already familiar with it. Personally, I think every thing seems able to accept the existence of cryptocurrency. But it all takes time to accept it. Just wait for it.

I think the world is not that 100% ready for crypto currency maybe it is only at 40% ready for it because there are still so many people around that never known about the bitcoin and its amazing feature, because not all of the people around known about this thing.

Yes that is true, I believe that crypto is not that popular to those who didn't used internet, some people specially who are living on mountainous places may never know that this crypto existence, and some other people didn't believe bitcoin even if they already know it.
-
not at all, cryptocurrency have still a long way to go before it will be recognized by many countries. To date, there are few countries banning the use of bitcoin in their nation.

Yes I agree mate. It will take 5 years again , the world ready for crypto.currency.

@Sapp, "crypto is not stable". Crypto is not stable because it is not controlled by the government. But the price instability has benefited many people, including me and you. Benefits can be obtained from the difference between the selling and buying prices in crypto currency.

Cryptocurrencies are legal and being used in over 150 countries, so my answer is a big, NO. The governments-back fiat will remain, because I believe that cryptocurrencies, in its current form, cannot replace fiat money. Cryptos are volatile. If you have a crypto worth $1000 at this point and time, you will never know if it's still $1000 after a few minutes.
-
For me on some countries not yet. But we all know that sooner or later the world will start adopting the cryptocurrency and everyone will start knowing about it.
-
Not yet. Nowadays, we can be able to see some countries who are engage in crypto. As a matter of fact some made it as one of the important factor in their economic growth. In the future the world will become ready for this ride.
-
I think there are still many countries that are not ready to receive Crypto as a currency for their citizens. Because there are still many developing and poor countries that have minimal knowledge of technology in it. I think this will take a long time if you want the world to receive Cryptocurrency.
-
crypto is a completely new phenomenon that the general mass of the population is not clear until they try and understand that it is convenient and practical. So it was with the Internet

The most crucial question is whether cryptocurrency is ready to be an alternative to the current financial system?
I do not think the answer will be "yes," we have more than 2,000 coins, most of them are altcoins and tokens, I think so many people should know how to run it along But learn at the right time .
Bitcoin and stablecoins are the best examples of cryptos.
-
Good question and really a controversial one, we will know the answer once crypto currency will become a mainstream economy reaching about a trillion usd, then we will know if the world is ready to adopt crypto currency instead of fiat currency.
-
I think this will happen gradually over a few years, maybe a decade.Perhaps we will not even notice it, but will simply use it .
-
I think no, crypto currency will be normal in smaller countries firstly, but i think we'll have to wait for a while for its common use as far as i can see.
-

It is correct, it should be ready for cryptocurrency as a new revolution in digital world. We have everything that can support it. Just wait for the time to be accepted as a whole. I think, in five years, cryptocurrency will be mass applied.
-
I don't expect much for cryptocurrency, let alone about replacing the world currency. I only wish for cryptocurrency and be approved for legal payment equipment in all countries, without having to replace the currency position of each country.
and if that happens, I'm sure the cryptocurrency price will be more than this.
-
Personally, I don't know whether the world has been ready for cryptocurrency or not. There is always a time for adaptation for something new. I see some countries accept cryptocurrency but not for others. However, many people around the world have been familiar with cryptocurrency. I predict if cryptocurrency can fix the bad issues related its existence, next few years more and more countries will accept it also.
-
We already using cryptocurrencies so it's obvious that the world is ready for this change. There will be for sure people that cannot understand bitcoin and how it works but we can help them to understand and adopt bitcoin just like any other currency and I'm thinking how will the elders react to bitcoin using daily.
-
In my country the use of crypto for transactions is also still prohibited from @comer. So what do you say, that crypto takes a long time to be accepted by the world. I think 20 years is not enough to make the world bow to crypto.
-
I think that we ourselves will be ready with Cryptocurrency. But in my opinion the world is still not ready to accept the Crypto World so easily. Because of seeing the condition of the community and technological progress to the country. I think it will take a long time for them to receive Crypto as their digital currency.
-
I think it's still too early for the full use of crypto currency, because almost no country has done this, but nevertheless some states are already working on this issue, so that may soon be!
-
I suppose presently the idea could be very new to be impactful for all the present industries and for them to transport to the blockchain. There are a few promising application but are yet to become mainstream.
