At this point im not even looking at alt coins from a technical point of view. Ethereum is in a massive downtrend which will only get worse. The only way for ethereum and alt coins to recover is a bitcoin bull break followed by a change in the weekly trend for bitcoin which would cause a massive short squeeze and push bitcoin probably up to 10k. At that point alt coins will start to recover slowly. Right now I wouldn't want to hold many alt coins, there are some cases out there like dogecoin which saw massive gains but at this point it's gambling.

I cannot predict how many dollars of ETH coins will be in the future, I can only predict and analyze that ETH has the potential to experience an increase in prices higher than the previous price in the future. That's all about time.

It seems rather difficult to predict about how much the price in the future. The price is really unstable now. It also cannot be predicted when the decline cycle will end. However, I hope the price will be more than $500.

Ethereum has a good future as it is the most trusted dApps platform and is till think the price can go upto $300 by end of the year.
If the ethereum progress continues as the default platform to launch decentralized applications it may reach over $1000 in couple of years. There are experts who says that bitcoin will be worth 100K at least in few years. If that happens, then we can safely assume that Ethereum would be worth at least few thousand dollars. But nothing is certain in this market, so anything can happen. be ready for the best and also prepare yourself for the worst.

Last week ethereum price was declined$175 this is the very big down of this year. Now slowly increase and decrease again. Although ethereum has more advantages and it is huge potential coin therefore this is it will reach $800 next year ethereum will cross $1500 .

I don't want to be pessimistic about ETH. For the near future, I predict that the ETH price will not reach $ 300 / ETH. There are too many things that make ETH prices go down every time. Ethereum is strongest coin and it has more advantages than other cryptocurrencies but now it's price is declined very high level although ethereum will recover soon therefore we can use this opportunity buy more ethereum because it is worth platform in future it will hit a new goal.

Last night, eth was surpass by ripple only for 30mins as the price of ripple moves 2% for 2 hours then eth suddenly pump to regain position. Imagine that only 2% for 1 hour needed to overtake eth by ripple. It's not hard for ripple to defeat eth but I dont think Buterin will let this slide. The position change right away as eth pump. In my opinion eth doesn't go down further as ripple continue to increase that will make eth move faster as ever.
The year end is 3months from now and I can still see a bullish break through before this year over. Even not the previous ATH but at least at half level of it will do.

i think in the future eth prices will also sit at the highest position as at the end of last year. indeed, it is currently very difficult to predict eth prices, but i hope good things will be fulfilled in the future.

I never thought how high Eth's value would be in the future, because the price of Cryptocurrency was very difficult to guess. but I'm sure, in 2 or 3 years, Ethereum prices will exceed Eth's prices at the end of 2017. it will definitely be higher, I am very sure that will happen.

I think we need to see ethereum to break $500 first and then another higher price, maybe at $750-$900. this can become huge in the future as many projects will ride with the popularity of ETH and use the ethereum platform to create new ERC 20 token. With the adoption of smart contract this will push the price of ethereum in the future.
