Title: Will every coin survive?
Post by: Domithra on September 12, 2018, 10:39:06 AM
Not every crypto coin will survive. A lot of factors come to play for a coin to thrive well on the market, ranging from the expertise of the team members to the attitude of investors on the market. This is the more reason why every investor must research on a coin before investing in it.

Definitely not. Many lack real life application and cannot survive. Many others are born out of scam ideas and will definifely not live past their ICO period.

We would like them to survive but the reality is impossible. Not all altcoins can be able to survive the obstacles during in market navigation. Some are scam at the beginning so automatically they are excluded.

IMO alt coins will die eventually. It will be alive for a few years max 5. I believe it will be max 50-100 coins in near future :)

Coins with large holders will survive. that is what I see in every crypto market. The coin dies because of the decrease in the number of holders of the coin.

Crypto can survive if we take care of them because if we always buy a coin and hold it we can still alive the altcoins and token to the market but if we continue selling the coin I don't think other altcoin or token survive and possible to gone. The future of the coin is depends to us.

Coin dies because some created base not on realistic formula. Once holders realized they will definitely hold back. That's why the team is responsible to make new updates in order to let holders remain by giving them positive out come.

Its obvious that lots of ICOs coming up are scams, filled with convincing words and ending up scamming their investors at the end of the day, this is not all, but most of these ICOs will survive, but not for a long run.

It's full of projects that simply do not have any real applications and are only "words" on paper.... I am very careful when I want to invest in a project nowadays

exactly as it is written, how for the sustainability of a coin project there needs to be a solid team and have a good vision and mission to continue to grow.
and for this matter, we as investors must continue to find out which coins have the potential so that later they can fly our money.

I see there will be a lot of coins that have collapsed and cannot last much longer in the Crypto market today. But like Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, RIpple and others it won't be that easy to die and disappear. They are the future of Crypto and the future of many people in the Crypto world.

dumb statement :D You see them as scams since you only want to earn tons of money in short time. This is not how ICO works. Majority of them providing utility tokens not security. Its up to you in which ICO you want to invest but its really dumb to think that you can buy lambo after ICO ends. You can make money using their product in one or another way. For example lets take ING token. It is worth nothing :D 1 cent or below :D But if you want to use their product (free wifi) you have to pay tokens for it. You can become a provider and provide the internet for others which leads to people are paying you those ING tokens. The price is nothing but the point is you can set your own price for that internet. Or use advertising and etc to earn money. Shouting out that ICO's are scam is really silly. You have to look from the different perspective and use your own brain to earn money from those ways :)

Of course because they are the top 10 market caps. When viewed from the previous history, the average altcoin that is easily to dead and collapse is a blockchain-based token

I don't think every coin/token will survive in the cryptocurrency market. I have read somewhere else that the newly created project was just only 6 months in exchange then it dissolves and delists in the exchange.

Many new coins appear now. This is a little confusing for beginners who are joining crypto. Most beginners will find it difficult to tell which coins are good and not. Though not all of these coins have a good performance and can survive in the future.

Since there are already a lot of coins appearing in the market now, but just like the saying, "Survival of the fittest".Thise coins who have a lot of great potentials and a working project after the ico and campaign would really survived, maybe in the long run they just die and disappear. So each of us must take a closer look and make reseach before investing or holding a coin.

I understand and be aware about this. That's why on many occasions, I suggest to all people to be more selective and do own research before investing. If we want to choose an ICO at least, choose an ICO with a potential product to develop at future. But when we want to buy a coin listed on an exchange, select a coin which is really useful continuously, like ETH. This way can be safer for our investment.

The cryptos may still survive in this dumb market era. However, we cannot guarantee or predict for every crypto. One crypto is rising right now and sometimes another crypto is dead. This is what happens to the market today. I think that some good coins can survive if it has a great team and project idea. All the current coins will not be able to remain and over 40% of them will not exist in the next 5 year as speculate by expert! However few that are going to remain are going to remain as a strong one and if you can identify them now and invest along there is no way you will not make money in future.

Most cheaters enter the market to be rich in the short term and they launch new ICOs easily. Unfortunately, these people do great damage to the entire market . There are lots of coin in the market that's not scam, but many of them won't last long because they dont have really solid projects. So we need to do a lot of research before invest.

Not all coins in the Crypto World will survive. Because the dead coins are usually left by the Investors and disappear from the Crypto World. But there are also many coins that are still strong and strong and even continue to grow in the future, just like Bitcoin today.

I am sorry as this is a bit off topic, but please do some research before saying that something is silly... Although you have a point in your statement and many people are only after the quick cash, you also need to know that a huge percentage (and if I remember correctly it is around 90%) os ICO's are scam... they collect the money and than fly away, or their idea will never become anything else than an idea, or they dissapear, etc, etc...
Bear markets are definitely the cleaners... it is the time in which a lot of crypto-garbage/scam dissapears and the market get's clean for a new bull run, so a lot of "coins" dissapear at this point...
On the long run there will also be a natural selection... some have real use, others will just compete to be the new "money"... only a few will prevail
you can also check the coin listings from 1 -2 years ago.... how many still exist?

every coin the price decreases, only the BTC coin, the price lasts, I observe the price of the coin and all the coins are unstable, I hope the price of the coin can be stable as before

there are too much coin projects that are left by developers.  some these developers are scammers where they build a coin project, then sell their coins thru ico.  or they can do some airdrop to get attention and sell the remaining of their coins in exchange for profit.  there are some developers who don't have much time to take care of the project they started and just left what they started.
in all, i think around 90% of the coin projects will die sooner or later.  at this rate, there should be a governing body or accreditation body that will rate each crypto to inform the public of the real status about the coin project

I dont think all coins will. The effect stems from the influx of more in the system. Not all coins will have value and people want results, people want to invest in value. Some coins would loose trade and eventually sink deep into the sands.

The reason why many coins did not survive it's because their project platforms is common and there are some that already position in the market which is hard for them to compete most especially if the team did not work religiously to uphold the images of the coins.

Definitely. Statistics has shown that more than half of last years projects have failed. The story might not be different from this year's own. However, several others ICO with great team and with real life applications can survive.

In the cryptocurrency market we already know which coins will survive and potentially, coins that die because there aren't too many who hold them.
