Anonymous sources told Bloomberg that the American banking giant Morgan Stanley plans to offer customers an exchange using bitcoin.

Quoting " people familiar with the matter," Bloomberg's publication shows that one of the largest U.S. banking industry companies will follow in the footsteps of other wall street players in the pursuit of bitcoin options.

According to sources, Morgan Stanley "will deal with contracts that give investors a synthetic effect on the performance of bitcoin." Sources add:

Investors will be able to both buy and sell using so-called "price return swaps" and Morgan Stanley will charge a spread for each transaction.

The news notes the latest commitment to interests in relation to bitcoin from the wall Street giant. Also, it is worth noting that another big player on wall Street- Goldman Sachs, last week denied allegations that the investment Bank abandoned plans for creating a trading Desk for cryptocurrency.

A Morgan Stanley spokesperson declined to give Bloomberg any comments about future plans.

In addition to the unconfirmed plans of Morgan, the past week also showed that insiders of the banking giant Citigroup hint that the Bank plans to enter products involving bitcoin.

Like similar potential offerings from Morgan and Goldman, Citigroup's customers will be able to access the bitcoin markets without working with the cryptocurrency directly, but by trading with derivatives.
