The market is full of fake airdrops of late. Personally, i have participated in numerous airdrops but not up to 20% have made payments. The ones that makes payment are also nothing to write home about. It seems most airdrops are intended to gather information on participants and use for their own selfish gains and to fill up their telegram groups with participants.
-
That's right Domithra. That's why I am not so interested to join in the airdrop. As you said, they seems just want to increase their group / social media portofolio, or steal user data. That's unethical behaviour I think
-
Must be smart to choose Airdrop. Actually not all Airdrop frauds, there are also paying fair prices. For people who like Airdrop is an easy job. But I'm not interested in Airdrop.
-
Well, I have participated in so many airdrops and didn't really to differentiate between the real and fake ones.
In my own view, only a fake airdrop will ask for Wallet's private key.
-
That's right Domithra. That's why I am not so interested to join in the airdrop. As you said, they seems just want to increase their group / social media portofolio, or steal user data. That's unethical behaviour I think
I agree with you. When I was first active in airdrops almost every day I joined, Until I realized that I joined was scam. So I lost my appetite now with airdrops...
-
That's for sure . I tried that myself and very few were true , but they don't pay good
-
I understand what you feel. I also thought like that, too much fraud and identity theft in airdrop. I already joined for weeks, the results obtained did not exist and made me disappointed. I think for the next time, we have to analyze all the projects that we will follow even though it's only airdrop so we don't waste time.
-
I also agree, from all the airdrops I have ever followed, almost 70% and above, no one pays, even if someone pays, most of the coins are ashes in the wallet. if, according to Domithra, it is better not to follow airdrop? or still follow it and must choose which is good and not.
-
I think you are right... airdrops, when legit, are a marketing move that serves only to gather user data, fill up their social channels and help to sell the project... unfortunately, most are scams and a lot of people already got hacked due to the data they've shared on an airdrop...
On the few ones in which coins are actually received, the value is so low that you will not be able to sell it due to the exchange fees.
I only susbcribe airdrops when I'm also doing bounty on the same project and airdrop can represent additional coin...
-
That is why i stopped doing airdrops, i did more than 500 last years and only in 5 cases i received a payment in token that exceeded 20$... and my telegram account in that period was almost full and unusable
-
I've literally stopped filling those google forms in the name of airdrops. I have not gotten any tangible amount of money from airdrops especially in 2018. I have instead been spammed with scam emails which I know is a direct repercussion of filling up fictitious airdrop forms. Good a thing I created a separate email for airdrops.
-
Making money by simply filling out a few forms is already really bullshit. People have to spend a little effort so they can make money. The token is not even 1 cent. There's no point in spending time.
-
Be careful on most airdrops, some people have agenda just gather information of the participants. I think its better to participate on bounty than this. Only few are legit and can give you ample tokens that are valuable. I suggest pick your airdrop carefully more chances that the project is scam than being sincere to do.
-
Yes, I already seen this things to happen. I joined airdrop but it turns out to be a scam this is quite disappointing.
-
it is absolutely true and I think they are only looking for group profits, and I don't really like that situation when I travel.
-
I don't know why 90% airdrop is fake. but there are some airdrops that pay me and give their tokens. but I don't know if it has value on the exchange.
-
sadly but true
i agreee with u
most of them just fake and just wanna collect our data
-
sadly but true
i agreee with u
most of them just fake and just wanna collect our data
not a few found that coins have no value. and this is very disappointing. for that, I very seldom even to participate therein.
-
Really? I think it's too big. 50% Airdrop scam, 30% Airdrop that has no value and 20% is listed on the exchange. I don't always rate airdrop as bad because it's very easy to participate in airdrop programs.
-
in my opinion, investing at this time is a very good opportunity, because we know that buying cheap prices will bring us many benefits.
-
Yes everything is correct. Most Airdrops are made to collect information. It is necessary to participate in the airdrops of projects that are already doing something and are known about them, then there is an opportunity to get coins.
-
That's right. In 2018 there are many projects in the ICO and the current Airdrop bounty project, many of which are Scams and many have been affected and become victims of Project Scam malignancy. I think friends here must be careful in investing and participating in the ICO Project or Airdrop bounty. So be more careful in doing business here.
-
It's not really their intention is to scam people it just happen that the market is really bad and they need to abandoned their project or might continue it in future. What really pissed me off are those scammers stealing other people personal details and use it to join in airdrop.
-
If more than 90% of airdrops are fake then this is very serious impact. This only means seldom real airdrops are alive maybe 10 out of 1,000 are the only real. Then we must be more diligent to participate in any airdrops.
-
Yes, i quite agreed that 90% of all air drops are fake or scam. These air drops campaign projects are done by individuals who actually needed high number of followers at all cost, there by lunching unnecessary air drops for their dubious gain. I think we have to be very careful in joining these air drops to avoid a wasteful effort.
-

Compared to airdrop before you can actually earn a lot unlike now. There are some legit airdrop but they giving few like 40, 20, 5, 2 tokens how can you trade it on exchanges if only this little right? Before, on airdrop you can receive 10k 5k which if you sell can get big pot of money. So the trend now is changing and unfortunately it become worst.
-
Yes, indeed many Bounty Airdrops or Projects in the ICO are Scams and many die. They are frauds under the guise of a Project. In order to be able to deceive Investors and Bounty Assistants, there are now a lot of victims. Hopefully friends here are avoided from projects that are Scam.
-
The main agenda of these projects is really just to fill up their Telegram group and gain more followers on their social media platforms, so they can give an impression of being a popular project to the outside investors. I would say you have a better chance for a really profitable airdrop if you are whitelisting yourself for prominent ICOs as there is always a chance that they will cancel the ICO and airdrop the tokens to whitelisted individuals.
-
It's true a lot of airdrop now that are just scam or fraud but not all airdrops like that, maybe there are still one or more airdrop which is true pay,so you have to be careful in choosing airdrop.so as not to meet with airdrop scam.
-
It make sense as we all know the more to easy received the money the more it is risky. Filling on the forms and finish the duty is as easy to wait for nothing. Airdrops doesn't mean always legit but it means some real and some are fakes. Be diligent and observant is necessary.
-
Personally, I have recently stopped working on Airdrop, because they very rarely pay out, also little, in my opinion it’s better to spend a little time and bounty practice!
-
Yes, currently there are too many fake airdrops happening these days, some just mean nothing, they only want to go to exchange and scam people.
-
yes we have to be careful not to share our personal information just for a little reward because now the airdrop scam is rife
-
That's right, now airdrops do in order to collect various information about users and their emails in order then to send them various spam and viral links. And recently there is no longer any sense from airdrops only if you have a huge referral network.
-
of course what you say is true because I have experienced it a while ago, I am actually suspicious of most of the airdrop projects that I follow. and for now I will stop to join airdrop.
-
Yes you are right most of the airdrop are really fake, that is why we need to be very carefull due to some of them that are just their to fake people.
-
I think that doing airdrops campaign is really just a waste of time, 90% or more of them are pure scam and the rest 10% will give you just few $... with the risk that your data could be stolen if they required KYC:...
-
Fully agreed with you that most airdrops which are coming now a days are totally fake and a tool to collect your information to use at bounties with fake ids as i found in many campaigns that someone use my data before my joining in that bounty.
-
Airdrops truly aren't worth it this days unlike before. Now most airdrops prefer referral programs and if you don't have huge followers, you chain little or nothing.
-
Agree and this is the reason why some of the bounty hunters are now stop participating airdrops because aside from rampant scamming activity the rewards also is too small.
-
choosing airdrops to follow is like choosing a bounty. we must be careful in choosing it because if we are wrong, we will get a scam project. if we can choose a good project, the results of the airdrops that will be obtained are also large. therefore we are smart to choose it.
-
I have been participating in Airdrop since the end of 2017, and there is practically no result from them. Only empty tokens come to the wallet, which at best will cost a penny
-

The ones that makes payment are also nothing to write home about. It seems most airdrops are intended to gather information on participants and use for their own selfish gains and to fill up their telegram groups with participants.
Most of those airdrops are just fraud and they just wanted to look that they have a lot of people holding their
shitcoins to make it look legitimate and you're correct, some of those airdrops are just stealing information of
crypto users to use it to their fraudulent activities.
-
It's a lot of fake and cheat, but not as much as the percentage is there. If there is a airdrop that offers great results can be certainly fake. Because airdrop is just one of the marketing strategies to promote its products, so it is unlikely to give great rewards. So we must be realistic in following the Airdrop program, do not get fooled with a large relying fake.
-
I have totally agreed with you that airdrops are the scam. To fill the airdrops is the wastage of time. Always be careful when you fill airdrops.
-
I agree with the author. In many cases, the airdrop is designed to collect information about the participants and fill their telegram groups. Previously, I participated in the airdrop, but the profit was low, which made me stop participating in them.
-
It is true, more than 90% of airdrops are just fake. But there are still many people following the airdrops yet the tasks are very easy to do and the rewards quite interesting. I saw many people remind to not join airdrops anymore. Airdrops are created for the purposes of gaining a lot of people to contribute only.
-
Honestly from the current trends of airdrops, I will agree with you that more than 90% of the airdrops issued these days are fake and scam.
-
I am agree with you. Most of them are here for making money within a short time. Besides they are selling our information to others.
-
Well, I don't generally get into the airdrops. There are some reasons like I don't want to give my personal info to the people just for 5 dollars. As you already know, most of the airdrops are most likely being fitted to 5 dollars.
-
It certainly is. People need to be aware of this. Many bounty programs and many airdrop campaigns do nothing but deceive people. These must end soon.
-
You are right. there are a lot of fake airdrops. they only collect emails and other information. although there are some airdrops that have a price. but still, that is only 5% of all airdrop available. and be careful when joining airdrop. maybe the link they gave was phishing.
-
Yes right you are... Now a days maximum airdrops campaign and bounty campaign are scams because I have joined about hundreds of airdrops campaigns but nothing I get. I don't like airdrops at all.
-
Yeah I only sign up for airdrops that are "exclusive" to different websites... so at least hopefully the site did it's due dilligence checking into it's legitimacy... maybe they don't though?
-
Indeed, a lot of airdrop is circulating which is actually aimed at deceiving the bounties, and they are taking data from the bounty hunters for their own interests, and that is very dangerous because our data can be misused.
-
It certainly is. People need to be aware of this. Many bounty programs and many airdrop campaigns do nothing but deceive people. These must end soon.
I don't think it is the same for bounty. I assume 90% fakes are just applied for airdrop. For bounty, I still believe there are still 30% of bounties that are real projects. But the problems, some of the projects failed to collect funds. Then, they extend the tokens sale or fail to continue their projects.
-
Actually not all Airdrop frauds, there are also paying fair prices. For people who like Airdrop is an easy job. But I'm not interested in Airdrop.
-
unfortunately more airdrops are a just a scam and waste of time.Finding a good Airdrop is so low chance.Even finding a good ICO is so rare these days.
-

Yes, I think too many airdrops are scam now. We must be carreful to choose airdrops and bounty. It is my opinion.
-
yeah, a gree with that.
Airdrop is fake and scammers.
i will never join airdrop again because just want to stolen your ID.
don't ever fill your KYC and ID to Airdrop campain.
-
All right. This is exactly the reason why I stopped doing Airdrop. Because in most cases this is potentially a scam, and in other cases they pay very little!
-
I belive so too, yes. most of the airdrop campaigns are just for 5-10 dollars and they don't even send it or they send for the scam projects. So indirectly, airdrops are becoming fake too.
-

Among the fake ICO and airdrops, there are still good companies that want to claim its place under the sun.
-
I also agree that most of them is a scam. But! Some of them were good enough.
So, why not to be the Airdroper? :o ::)
In any case, it does not take much time, right? Filled in the form, just make a tweet/retweet/repost and ran on away next ;)
-
I think a part of them are almost no value, the others are totally scam which try stealing users's wallet or information
-
I have many fake tokens and they have made fraud in a very clever way, convincing everyone and promising that the tokens will be in the best exchange.
There's still a lot of airdrop asking for KYC and I've never followed it, making sure the information we have is safe from scammers
-

Its been a long time I quit in airdrops activities because I'm so unfortunate in that thing. I didn't ever experienced to earn with this, much better to join bounties rather than airdrops. Now bounties also seems all turn to scam because ive never earned agsin from bounties since August until now.
-
At the moment there are almost no good airdrops anymore and if you think it is a good airdrop,no token will come later and many airdrops just want your data and mail address.this is not good.there are far too many scam ICOs.
-
May be your idea is absolutely right because I have completed about 100+ airdrops campaigns but nothing can get me payments. So those case I don't like airdrops campaign at all.
-
At this point, if you have to do more than 3 or 4 tasks (submit email, follow telegram, follow / retweet, follow/ share) I think it's not worth investing your time. More than 90% are fake, but less than 1% is worth it.
-
Probably, I also think that the airdrops in 2018 until now are mostly fake. they give the rewards that is very small. Additionally, most of them will not come to the market or exchange. So we cannot trade them. It seems that many are fake or scams. But, It may be about 75%.
-
Ohhh my good very sad. Nowadays airdrops campaigns is a great process of ICO but if airdrops campaigns remain scams and fake, please loss their egarity and effort.
-
These figures look rather dry and unrealistic. We're not all new here and we understand that this is not true.
-

I personally prefer bounty campaign than airdrop. I think bounty is more profitable than airdrop. Too many airdrop are scam.
-
Yes you are right. I stopped joining airdrops because of this and also because is has no value. Early last year many airdrops proved null and it became a waste to participate in bounty campaigns
-
Yes, I already seen this things to happen. I joined airdrop but it turns out to be a scam this is quite disappointing.
Not only you guys but also me face a huge scam projects. About 400+ airdrops that I joined but till now I don't get any profits from airdrops.
-
If your numbers were correct-no one would waste time on it, but only people continue to participate and earn money.
-
Must be smart to choose Airdrop. Actually not all Airdrop frauds, there are also paying fair prices. For people who like Airdrop is an easy job. I agree with you. When I was first active in airdrops almost every day I joined, Until I realized that I joined was scam. So I lost my appetite now with airdrops... :) :) :) :)
-
I think that participate in airdrop is useless because only very few of them will pay something decent....and also someone is asking for KYC too...that's crazy...
-
If we have already realized that more than 90% airdrops are fake, I advise to not join this program at all. It is a big warning for us to avoid the airdrops program. I think it is not suitable anymore to provide in ICO's promotion. It is too risky for participants, and It is not really worth for ICOs.
-
Now just a lot of projects have moved from the stage of implementation of the idea and go to the stock exchange for 1 month before the implementation within a year.
-
I personally did not track my statistics on participation in such projects, but I can assure you that 90% is very much.
-
Airdrop is an oversupply of coins.Accordingly, their cost initially already low.
Most of the coins with airdrop where I participated now cost nothing and are dead weight on the wallet.
-
right, sometimes they invite us to the group without permission, not just telegram but sometimes many coins that enter the wallet without an airdrop competition
-
I think we can say that a large number of them are unsuccessful, but I rarely hear about fakes. I personally participated in them, but the percentage was much less.
-

The ones that makes payment are also nothing to write home about. Yes I think too many airdrops are scam today. I prefer join bounty program and do day trading than participate in air drop.
-
Yea more than 90 percent bounty and airdrops campaign are fake and scams. I don't get anything from airdrops campaigns.
-
90% fake? I can't deduce the percentage of legitimate or fake airdrop. I only see airdrop only giving coins or tokens with a low value.
-
Last week I checked the telegram groups to see if they have sent my coins. I agree more than %70 has not paid at all. And when you ask about the airdrop some of them say that there was not even an airdrop.
Tons of fake airdrops.. Hard to track...
-
I am not really sure if more than 90% fake or not but most of airdrops are worthless now. It is not recommended at all. Even if the are not fake, you just get the rewards for cent. In my opinion, it waste our time and efforts only.
-
Very much effective topic because scams are very crucial phenomenon in our crypto world. Specially in airdrops sections scams are common subject. Maximum airdrops turns to be scam projects.
-

Yes, I think too many airdrops are scams. I prefer participate in bounty campaign than airdrops because I never get tokens from airdrop.
-
I would rather join a bounty program and do daily trading than participate in water drop. I think too many airdrops are scam today. And Sagst Union is detrimental.
-
Yes, there are a lot of airdrops are the scam. I prefer to participate in bounties then airdrops.
-
Probably it is Airdrop is just an artificial crowd bearer or a strategy of most of ICO's to look the said community to have a thousands of users. But as far i know some of it are legitimate startups that run and ICO/ITO and if its succed of raising the needed funds your airdrop token is gaining some value if its already tradable and if not still your Airdrop token/coin is worthless.
-
The biggest problem with these airdrops is cheating its members and especially those who promote these companies among other people.
-
Very much true. Though it is truly hard to spot a scam airdrop. What we can do is to spend a bit of our time with the project’s website and whitepaper to see if it has any chance of succeeding. But whether we admit it or not, airdrops are a fun way of getting into cryptocurrency and finding out about new blockchain projects. And every once in a while an airdrop can be hugely profitable - again, once in a while.
-
Something you have any inflated performance. Personally, I participated in more than 1,000 projects, and among them the percentage of fakes was much less.
-
The market is full of fake airdrops of late. Personally, i have participated in numerous airdrops but not up to 20% have made payments. Unfortunately everywhere there are dishonest companies that attract attention to themselves, and then simply disappear. We can not avoid fraud, but every day there are more ways to check and ensure against fraudsters.
-
In as much as I do not do airdrops and I agree with your point, I still think you should not discourage others about it as many may want to join because out of these many lies, there are still a very small amount of good airdrops that are not scam. Although, they do not pay high rewards, but they still do.
-
Not fake but many of them are worth a penny because of how the market condition. Airdrops during a bull run is different
-
The market has long been full of fraudulent airdrops, so this is not surprising, but the fact that they very often began to ask for a KYC was a surprise for me, so I had to stop working on them!
-
The number of such projects is not so significant, our main task is to understand how to look for these projects and get rid of them, and it is better not to allow their creation.
-
If you bought this information from some statistical Agency, then return your money, you were deceived.
-
Rather suspended statistics, since 90% is too much of all projects. If that were the case, no one would be involved.
-
It may be true. So far, Io have ever joined in some airdrop programs. I have received the coins in my wallet, but they are not in the market after more than 6 months. Well, this is probably a fake, and sometimes, i don't get any reward from the airdrop program. Who knows.
-
Yeahhh!
I found the most valuable thing and this is definitely a lesson for all members for this forum.
Airdrop is indeed used to collect time in the telegram channel with the lure of tokens that don't know when it's paid.
It's not fair for participants who aren't paid and it's better to avoid Airdrop because it's a waste of time.
-

Yes, I. think It is true.. More than 90% of airdrops are fake. I never get profit from join in airdrop since 2017. It is my opinion.
-
Indeed, there are now many projects that are scam, which results in a decline in investor interest in buying crypto, with many scam projects not only investors who are at a disadvantage, the bountypun are disadvantaged by following the airdrop which has no results.
-
be careful to participate in airdrop. they are not just fake. but, they could enter a phishing link on the form they provided. not only forms but they also include phishing links in links given via telegram.
-
Most of the airdrops in my view are fake but some airdrops are also given more earnings. I recommend that the airdrop should be carefully filled.
-
Actually not all airdrops are focused on building value or community. The goal of these developers is to generate short term buzz about a token so that people will be eager to buy. When ask for private key then they are scam.
-
for me airdrop is just a waste of time, because airdrop now has almost no value when it's on the market. I have followed a number of airdrops, apparently there are also many airdrop scams. I am better off trading and also working on the bounty.
-
What is fake for you? If the project did not pay coins, or if the project just gathered the audience on one channel, so then sell it?
-
Yes, now there are a lot of scammers, I think that you need to apply laws to this sphere and introduce criminal liability
-
Welp, there's less profit on airdrops anyway.
plus your precious info in exchange for an airdrop is not a good deal.
especially when they are requiring you to make an account in their site. and you use the same password in it... that's one way..
plus exposing more..
-
Must be smart to choose Airdrop. Actually not all Airdrop frauds, there are also paying fair prices. For people who like Airdrop is an easy job. But I'm not interested in Airdrop.
What can you give advice on choosing an airdrop?
-
I’m not doing airdrop anymore because most of them are fake and just try to steal our hard work at the moment
-
Truly, I participated many airdrops, out of 10 I joined 1 is only legit so I stopped joining airdrops as it only stressed me out. Better to join bounties that has 50% assurance.
-
Not necessarily all AirDrop fake. There are really interesting and promising projects. It is necessary to study proets first.
