Lets take the following example. You buy BTC at 6k and it goes up to 8K. Do you sell 100% of it or do you sell 75% and keep 25% in BTC.
What are your opinions / tactics?

In a bullish market condition, I'll sell 70% and ride 30% with the market wave. If in a bears market, I'll sell 100% and wait to buy the dip. This is to ensure I'm not losing money at any point.
-
Indeed, when the market goes up and the increase is already maximal. I will sell my coins 60% with some for savings and wait for higher price again and get profit from the proceeds. But if the price rises is still small, chances are I only sell 20% of my coins to get a profit too or even prefer to hold the coins as well.
-
it depend on what ur plan and what target that u wanna go
if increase 50 or 100% is good enough then u can sell all urs
it back to ur target
-
I only use a half when I want to trade my coins, sell 50% and hold 50% (the rest). Commonly, I never sell all my coins because I believe one day it may increase more in higher rates. Especially fo ETH, I will hold at least a half of the total ETH in my wallets since it will be used for many activity in trading and ICO.
-
If I really trust the project, I generally sell half of my balance. If I do not trust for long term, I do not miss opportunities and sell all of my balance.
-
I hold what I think will get a high price in the coming months . but I sell anything else that I don't predict it .
-
I only sell 50% of my profits to spare if bitcoin has decreased. the advantage I use to buy back and wait if bitcoin has decreased.
-
will not ... because one day the price will change ... if it goes down it's okay. if it goes up it will be more profitable
-

This is all well and good in practice, but there is no way you guarantee you're 'not losing money at any point'. If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it.
In answer to the OP, I'd ladder my sales out, and make sure to keep a bit back in case it really flies. Start selling at around 20% up, can always come back in if it drops. And it's not easy to keep emotions out of it if it jumps up rapidly in a short amount of time. I guarantee a lot of people could have made much more money if they'd sold back in January, but the 'red mist' takes over and people get greedy (me included). I hope I learnt my lesson, it was a tough one, but will only know for sure when the market starts moving again.

For me it is still be good to hold and wait until bitcoin goes into 15k or 20k. Be confident and wait more time for better result at the end.

When your crypto is already at the profit stage its up to you if you sell it or not on that opportunity. But if you can manage to hold it and willing and can wait for the double profit its your choice as long as you can hold your emotion when the dip takes place.
-
My strategy is, I will set a different sell price for some percent of my holdings. For example I have 1 BTC and I bought it at $6k price I will sell 20% of it to $8-9k, 20% on $10k+ and so on.
-
of course I am selling if it has reached the target I wanted. and then profits will I for two. partly for investment back when the price back down. and the most I enjoy.
-
Yes, . I sell some of my coins if I see a high coin market. And still save some of my coins for the next holding to hope that the coins will be higher again. Because I will not waste that opportunity before going down again and I will regret this.
-
personally, I will not sell all the crypto assets that I have because I still hope that the price will continue to rise as time goes by. it might take a long time, but I believe it.
-
Im not able to sell all my coins, because there was a tendency that it will goes up again and much higher. Maybe I'll sell my coins about 70% and wait the 30% when it hit again.
-
maybe I will sell it 60% and I will save another 40% for future savings, but it should not change at any time. and yes maybe in the future the price can exceed the 60% price that I sold earlier.

What are your opinions / tactics?
In my opinion i will maybe sell a small percentage of the total amount or even just hold 100% since in the first place i have decide to invest in it, unless the amount is too big in one area if not i will not start diversify.

Trading strategy changes from time to time. it depends on certain conditions. 100% sell on one trade and just a portion in some other trades.

What are your opinions / tactics?
I'm not a seasoned trader, so 6k to 8k is not enough of a jump to sell for me. Once something quadruples, and I'm looking at a bunch of money, than I'll sell, if I need the money. This happened with doge coins twice so far.
-
It really depends on what kind of trade i'm in.
I usually diversify my holdings, in long term and short term. I rarely sell my long term holds, different story for short term trades. I exit in 50% on Target 1 and 50% on target 2, profits go 50% in long term holdings and 50% stay in USD or tether ready for the next trade opportunity

What are your opinions / tactics?
I will sell 60%, because I have gotten alot benefits. 40% I hold it to follow the market, If the market increase again, I sell all my coin.
-
it depends on what coin I buy if I buy a good coin it will sell 75% I always do things differently when trading sometimes when it's profitable, so I sell everything and buy again when prices fall and hold for a long time, but to buy bitcoin and ethereum I always sell 50% -75%.
-
I love selling all my holding if I see profit in it. And wait another bear market to buys coins and sell again in bull run. I think we should be patience today the market price is starting to pumps again.

I try to sell everything at once, so as not to lose a lot of money, but when it comes to buying altcoins to make money, I try to keep them for a long time

Depend I usually sell to recover my investments plus a 10 percent and then I hold it has worlk until last bull run that I’ve lost a lot on the current bear market . Now I’m just holding and buying the coins I consider worth it untill I see some green.
