Been seeing a lot of talk about stablecoins lately like this article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/shermanlee/2018/03/12/explaining-stable-coins-the-holy-grail-of-crytpocurrency/#432e3ce84fc6
What do you guys think about them? My personal favorite would be Havven since they're not pegged to fiat or gold and is trustless.

Surely the very stable coin and suitable coin for long term investment is Bitcoin but there are still many altcoins that have good potential for long term investment because of the stable price of EOS,Neo and XRP.
-
I had some interest for Tether, but I have seen some negative speculation about that, so I didn't look for that anymore. The nearest Crypto-Currency to stability that I reach now is DogeCoin. Not so stable, but at least well known already to know it's not a farse and that there isn't anything behind it.

People do trading with crypto and also people usually want to get profit from buy the particular coins such as bitcoin or ETH and some of them are very liked volatility because they able to buy at the lower price and sell at the high price and unfortunately volatility always be a part of cryptocurrencies so i'm not really sure people will liked stable coin.

My favorite stable coin are Bitcoin, Ripple, Neo, and ethereum although some mentioned are not stable but they are people choice and have drawn the attention of many.

Stable is not recomended for holding in long time, because the price never up and keep stable in the current bitcoin price, if bitcoin going to the moon agin i thin the price in satoshi are reduced and make you loss money bitcoin keep the value in fiat still same

What kind of snow do you prefer ? Quite stupid question, as for me, it's all snow with one purpose .

Stable coin is value always stable such as USDT stable around $1, I don't think bitcoin or else are stable coin. The price always volatile. My be tether is favorite when bear matket to keep our asset.
-
I personally evaluate these projects purely trading volumes and the number of exchanges on which they are presented.

As I noticed many people still don't trust stable coins and don't know what their purpose is. I agree I don't get what for do we need those stable coins, so I prefer usual cryptocurrencies like ETH, EOS and so on

I think USDc is better than Tethter because USDC is based on Ethereum and Tether based on OMNI.
OMNI is very small if compared with Ethereum.
This is good news for stable coin HODL, I'm sure!
