I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

actually all altcoin is currently worth to buy. because the price is also very affordable. just buy a altcoin that has a future. as with Neo, EOS, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ripple, or stellar.

Friend, you don't have to listen to these complains otherwise you may not be courageous to start investment. Now, we have been on the bear market since 2018 till now and every thing look "shit" or "dead" but obviously, crypto is still waxing stronger by the day.
To start investing, look out for coins with good projects use cases, trading volume, and markekcap at the CMC and start investing. This is just my opinion to get at least 100 coins/ token for investment.

No, altcoin will never die if you can see it in a way that is more precise and observant (not only at a glance), until now I think there are still many altcoins that still have great potential out there. Come on guy you can see the growth of the altcoin from the better side.

It’s really hard to predict as which option might go high or which has the highest potential, so this is why better to go for multiple options. I have a certain percentage to the established Cryptos. As per rest, I have some interesting choice and amongst those it’s FYDCoin, it’s a very pleasant Cryptocurrency (https://www.fydcoin.com/) that deserves a lot more attention that it has at the moment. It’s kind of dark horse thing but with their concept and whole setup, it’s meant to reach higher in months to come. So this for sure one I would like to suggest.

Now holding new altcoins is very dangerous, because almost all new altcoins will either be scam or simply will die after some time for various reasons, and therefore it is best if you want to hold some altcoins, then only the top ones, such as ethereum or binance coin.

You made this thread on September 22, 2018, I mean many things have changed after this thread was posted. You cannot say it longer since there are potential coins for sure here. You can see that we have IoTeX, Ferrum tokens, and others. Those are good coins, you can try to find out more information about them.

Now much depends on the movement of bitcoin.None of the presented coins has sufficient independence...BNB is an exception-not everyone has such support, which can set a trend for a long time moving against the broad market.

When you visit CMC, I think you will find the answer, you will see coins and tokens, some differences from coins that can be mined and tokens that have high prices because of the products they have.

Yes there are only those who complained against the tokens on the marker are the one who are victimized by shitcoin or pump and dump coins out there. Everyday, there is more than 10 coins and tokens release and some of them are used only to lure investors with their fake projects. Dont know why people boy learning from making mistakes. I can see how those projects work in my own perception and I can say its really not good to have multiple coins and tokens that adds in thr market cause they only be died out when no liquidity has been occurred.

That is common. For those who don't understand trading (more precisely), buying altcoin based on coinmarketcap ratings is the safest thing. But only for the long term. If for the short term, it's better to buy altcoin not based on CMC ranking. an altcoin that is not yet registered with CMC is more profitable (at first), and you better sell it when you get a profit.

I agree with you. Because choosing other little-known coins is a big risk. And if you choose to invest from the top 10 coins that are on the coinmarketcap, then this risk becomes much less.

Why do you only dare to buy coins that are in the top 10 ranks, don't by taking a high risk we will get a big profit as well. The top 10 coins are usually quite stable and not too high. but if you want to take the risk by buying potential new tokens then you might get very high profits.

It is a good choice, Litecoin is one of worth altcoins to invest for sure. However, I think Ethereum or BNB coin is still better to choose. These coins look quite consistent in rising since they have a strong community. They also have important functions for the community.

Perhaps, as long as the altcoins have a demand I could say that it is worth buying. Because, if there is no demand it will be hard for the traders to earn in it for sure. Especially if the coin listed in one of the top exchanges in the market as well. So, try to use CMC or know as coinmarketcap most of the time for you to find out on which of the coins are on top.

In my opinion, if you want to look for a good investment in altcoins, it would be best to check the top list coins in coinmarketcap because the top list coins in it shows a great potential starting when they new coins. I stumbled at Cardano during my early days in crypto and till date i do not regret being a fan to it and investing in it. Chainlink was another good suport for me. At first, i was doubtful on its potential, but it actually proved y doubts wrong. It's also good to see Elrond on the list.
