Can ETH reach the value of btc in future??

I think is not possible because bitcoin is very old coin. Day by day its price is increasing.The price of other coins goes up to Bitcoin so tough.

Certainly, when bitcoin starts getting too old and dying down, a new replacement will be on the rise.

Give Eth atleast 5 years. I think it will takeove bitcoin.

ETH at the moment looks like the coin with the better chances of achieving that (arguable though). It might also need to solve it's scalability challenge to ensure such growth.

I believe SPEEDCash will do this year. Great projects will always perform above and beyond expectations regardless of FUD. it's pretty much impossible cause btc is th king of all coin
and the main factor is it has its own demand lyk no other coins
and the creator btc mr satoshi has probably think like that
so that btc can never be defeated

You are right, it just has to provide some real use in real life and have a nice support between it.

base of what i heard bitcoin is the oldest and has already proven that it is best among the rest bitcoin value getting more higher than before maybe if bitcoin will loose its significant then new coins will rise

Reaching the current price of bitcoin by altcoin like eth someday is possible but during that time btc is too much expensive.

I think none alt will rise like bitcoin. Maybe if bitcoin will become stagnant the price won't move anymore I think there will be alt that rise like bitcoin.

ETH will probably reach that price but I do believed that bitcoin price in the future is not the same price that we have today. It will go far far away than any coins.

It is very defficult to predict ETH reaching the value of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the first crypto and it many take years for any coin to reach bitcoin value. Bitcoin has gained alot of popularity having been around for 9years unfortunately ETH is just 5years old. Bitcoin has world wide acceptance and can be used on online payment but ETHis yet to achieve this fit. I generally believe ETH gonna take many years before it may get these level of bitcoin.

If Eth will reach the $20K level, then bitcoin would probably be around $100K :P
Just my opinion though. I do not think any altcoin can overtake bitcoin.

I don't think so that other altcoin will rise like Bitcoin. ETH will probably reach that price but I hope Bitcoin will never reach the current price (https://cryptonewstrends.com/) in future. I hope it grows more and more and more. :D

Although ethereum is potential coin it cannot reach what bitcoin price now. Also it is impossible to like with bitcoin as we know what bitcoin purpose in crypto and what ethereum purpose too. Both have the differences in uses.

No not all can reach this heigh, becaue some coins are only talk and no actual product. And most important is how many coins are supply, in world right now around ~ 17m of bitcoins, and etherium cap is 100m, so do calculation.

It's possible. There are lots of altcoins that are gaining popularity and getting higher in value. Other reason is, these altcoins are cheaper thus other investors are thinking of investing in alts.

Bitcoin and ethereum have completely different functions and tasks. Therefore, they develop in different ways. Personally, I would not want to see that some kind of coin once again rose in price as bitcoin. This is abnormal and is for every such coin a dead end option in development. Such coins can grow so high in value only by using them as a speculative means of accumulating value, but not as a digital currency. This is in any case bad for this coin. This is also bad for the rest of the crypto currency, because it falls under the price dominance of such a coin, which we see in the example of bitcoin. Since it is primarily used as a means of accumulating value, its capitalization is growing and this makes it possible to exercise price dominance over the rest of the crypto currency. I am opposed to such domination by any coin, since in that case there is no free market.

I don't say it is impossible but seems need long time to reach the bitcoin rates. Everything is possible since crypto world is sometimes unpredictable and surprising. However, I guess it won't happen in near future.
