Title: QUESTION: Can you choose a specific address?

Does anyone know if it is possible to create an address for a crypto but you choose your own address?  I mean it would have to be an unused address of course.  Just curious.  Or, are address creations always random?

Do you mean wallet address like bitcoin wallet?  I think the answer is yes, I've read about it.  You can customized your bitcoin address but it's not a whole address tho, just a few characters.

I don’t know any instrument for doing something like that but I think it’s not possible to generate a completely custom made address
