Hi all,
For my master thesis, I’m currently doing a study about Initial Coin Offerings. The main purpose of this study is to learn more about the key motivations of investors to invest in an ICO. In order to finalize my study, I made a survey. You’ll find the link to this below. It would be extremely helpful to me if you could make some time to fill in and complete my survey. My motivation to join ico is to get a high return from the tokens I got. As we know, during the ico project we can get tokens or coins at cheap prices, and allow us to sell high prices after the ico project is finished.

I believe that there is so many ico that is good but there are also some ico who are scam. we must be careful in choosing it, but if we choose the ico well then we will also get a big profit.

Investors investing icos because they want to earn huge amount of money in short time. That is the biggest motivation for investors. Money.. And you know they are following hype for joining icos.
Small amount of investors with full of knowledge surely looking the projects real world value and team etc. But most of them investing only for good roi.

The main motivation in joining the ICO is to get a lot of profits. Because the price at the start of the ICO is usually lower. And then hold it for a while and wait for the price to rise after it has been listed in the exchange.

My motivation by investing in ico is to gain more profits ico offer a cheap price while their coin/token not yet listed on the market it's an opportunity to the investors to invest in cheap price so more holdings more profits but it's too risky just invest what you can afford to lose.

My motivation or the thing that keeps me moving on is that i see a great future in crypto even though last few months was bear run follow by bear run and increase of scams. Look on the bright side scams also shape us to be more careful in our wallet or investment.

being part of a baby born is amazing. now imagine being part of the shareholder of baby apple when they are at the first stage in the garage.
Participating to the ICO's is the same feeling for me.

Now participation in ico is not the best idea.Most projects will not be able to replicate apple's success at the beginning of its journey.It is to be understood.

I am very happy with the technology and investing with the start up is very , thanks to crypto. But what motivate me to invest in ICO, I want to become an early adopter and I am inspire for those successful people who are invested heavily in technology.

I love investing in ICO stages since there are tons of new things to understand and be a partner to the project in some way.

I think everybody has the same motivation to invest in an ICO. We want to earn profits from the ICO tokens or coins. To be honest, I also hope for the large amount of profits through joining an ICO. And I think It is the most reasonable motivation.

Until now I am still interested and consider that investing in an ico project is a profitable thing. That's all because investing in ico projects gives you the opportunity to make substantial profits. With presale system then we get the advantage to buy with a much cheaper price. Everyone is even able to reach tens of thousands of dollars in every ico. But please note that investing in an ico project is a very risky thing, so make sure that we have chosen the best because it will determine the future we will achieve.

obviously, only many who expect profit from joining in the ICO. that, of course, being the main reason and certainly quite reasonable because of ICO and more people are already getting great results. for any technology and issue it in the ICO just such bonuses are most important is how the ICO could generate for them.

What motivates me more in an ICO to invest is how they organize and how they handle the crowd to fulfill the needs of other investors not only they benefits but also the investors and the bounty hunters that do the job in promoting their business, I think if I red their proposals good and I think it will reach it hard cap I think that is the best to invest to in an ICO.

Investment motivation is the same for all. It's earning money. This does not apply only to ICO. The same motivation when investing in securities or different currencies. I've met very few people who are willing to invest for pacifist reasons. Investors are not interested in the life of the project after they leave it. I think this is a very big problem for all investment projects.

I am very well researching the team and advisors behind it before I invest. Because many projects now appear with ridiculous issues.

the thing that motivates me to invest in ico is the price when ico is cheap and I buy and after finishing ico the price will go up and give me profit but at present rarely ico prices like that most of the price goes down when entering the market, so now what we have to do smart to choose good ico, don't just choose if you want to make a profit.

Huge profits or high soar after holding the ICO coins within a certain period is the first motivation. For me, it is like a pure speculation by investing ICOs. We never know the ICO project will be successful for long time or not or even never be successful.

You have to look at major places in order to make choose a good project for investing. Firstly, do research on their teams, read their whitepaper, their social media and finally their road map

The factor that is motivating me to go on further to invest in ICO is the profit that i am able to get some might say it can be lost rather than profit but what i tell myself is that at least you try your best win or loss in something you cannot control anymore.

Because In my opinion, ICO is mpre profitable than others. It is the reason why I still have motivations to invest in ICO.
The motivation to invest in each an enterprise is the profit.Also learning to work with cryptocurrency.

It is true. Since the price of coins or tokens in ICOs are very cheap + many discounts there, the possible profits seem higher than buying on exchanges. Unfortunately, when they are listed on exchanges, the prices drop very significant.
