How do we identify airdrops that are used to scam others ? Are there some points to check before joining any airdrop to prevent being scammed ?
-
actually not a scam, but indeed the airdrops is increasingly ineffective. and as more and more projects are a scam, then the airdrops are also the more that join the scam. but that does not mean all the airdrops were a scam.

To read and search is the best recommendation for you. No more no less. I hope you will bear this in your mind. Happy to suggest. :D

Honestly I cannot identify if they are scams or not, that's why I stopped attending them. Bounties involve less scam and more income.
Airdrops are really mostly a waste of time.

It's very difficult to judge the airdrop scam or not. there is no harm in trying all the available airdrops this year. it's easy to participate and complete it.
-
Airdrop scams are hard to avoid but airdrop is not too detrimental because we only join once in contrast to bounty hunters who have to work, maybe it can be more than 1 month and it turns out the project is a scam. very sick for us

it's a good thing to avoid scam projects.
and there are other ways to avoid you, namely you have to try to consult the seniors first, usually they know which ones are legit, and which ones are scams.

Its very difficult to detect scam airdrops. But one thing that can raise eyebrows is when they start demanding too much personal details and also when they ask you to provide your wallet private key.

Its better you do not join any airdrops at all because most of them are just waste of time. High percentage do not pay participant at the end of the campaign. The scam ones usually ask for too much personal details from you
