I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

That I snot big surprise and you may ask why so? Because those who are very old enough and have seen the crypto since couple of years or more they know very well that how crypto currencies will behave in the time to come. Whenever you see red then there is always high chance that crypto will start plunging towards a ATH price and this is evident with the year ends graphical data for all the years in the past.
Just HODL.

At this moment of bearish trend I am much prefer to hodl than to regret my portfolio. Because by means of holding we can be able to analyze the market condition if we meet the track of the market baseline and reference with our deep monitoring of cryptomarket roadmap. Try to keep closely monitoring of crypto market condition always and learn how the big whales manipulate the crypto market.

In trading, you should not regret with every thing you have decided. Selling a coin to buy another is not a bad way to get more chance of benefits. For example, If you trade ICO coins to buy ETH or Bitcoin, it is smart but also may be wrong decision since ICO coins sometimes being surprising with significant rise. So, for potential ICO coins, it is better to hold. At least, you hold a half of the total coins.

If you are a trader then do not be sorry for yourself because that happens. No one can really predict the price if will go up or down.

One time or another you regret selling your coins at an earlier time or do not sell it at the right time when the coins you are holding are pumping, it's the accompanying risk in this highly volatile industry but its part of the learning process.

If you dare, then we recommend that you regret. Don't be forced to hodl if you already do not like. as this will not make you excited again. regret, then immediately close losses with new coin hodl.

Just HODL is not the best strategy in many situations. If you are aware of a great investment opportunity and you have to dump some other holding, do it. But if you really dont need the money for anything, never sell at the loss.

I experienced the same thing, did you know the price of https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/docademic/ I sold it 1 month after the ICO was finished, you can see what happened after MTC was registered with the CMC.

Atleast you made some profit out of it, what if the price was dropping back seriously, won't you regret of not selling it at that moment?. Crypto is unpredictable, don't regret for any action taken.

It will be good if you sell it at the bull market. There are still opportunities that, should buy when XVG dumped again, I see XVG and TRX is good to HODL, but the reverse side of them is controlled price by the whale.

What was really your planned when you bought Verge, to hold it for years or sell when the price go up? If your plan is to hodl it for years then, you don't stick to your plan that affect your decision making. I also experienced this but it was out necessity that affect my decision making.

People wrongly interpret HODL to be something really positive. HODL is not a solution for every market situation. If you don't understand the market and are only here to earn some huge ROI, then just put your money in some large-cap coin for long-term investment. At that time HODL makes sense. But not always.
You need to take positions according to the market. You shouldn't HODL all the way through the bull market phase and then regret not selling while in bear.

Hodling in a bears market is very risky as you stand a chance of losing a lot. Some people who tried to hodl this bears season have lost significant amount of money, some of lost their entire gains. So for me, it's not a good idea to hodl in this kind of market conditions. I'd rather sell off and buy the dip.

Hold, I prefer HOLD when the price is going down. Hold is the best way to keep the value . We can hold and wait until the price goes up again.

you're not wrong, it's because you are out of luck. I'm sure you have tried your best to hold. but how else do you need money to buy another coins. maybe next time you can use other funds so as not to be disturbed by financial problems

In my opinin, I prefer to hold my coin. because today is the bear market. We can wait the bull market will come.

It's all a matter of choice. Some hodl coins for a short while and others see it as an investment for future profits. Cryptocurrency is generally unpredictable and to hodl some coins might be unfavourable. Judging from the Market condition today, it's best to hodl cause definitely the Market will bounce back and your coins will do well. Patience is just what we need right now.

I had a similar story with Verge. Bought it dirt cheap when it was barely in the Top 100, sold it off for swing trade profits. Then it did 20x. Now I hate XVG!

Yeah, we always do something like this, we cant hold coins forever thats why we sell them but based on my experience. The longer you hold the higher the profit it will be.

Yeah, we always do something like this, we cant hold coins forever thats why we sell them but based on my experience. The longer you hold the higher the profit it will be.
You forgot to say that this statement is true for proetov with a strong product and team that no matter the situation on the market is continuously working on improving it ...everything else is a Scam that will eventually become unnecessary wrappers.

Well yes you are right, but sometimes you could need help financially and can't help but to sell your assets

I've known from the start crypto is going to be a long-term investment for me. 8) So, I hodl some MGO, CAT, MTK and other tokens. I know it will bring some satoshi in the future. ::) Otherwise, I don't see any good reason why to buy crypto for. Hodl!

It does not always work like that, how many times I already had this, I could sell some tokens for a good price, but I thought that they could still grow and because of this I saw how they started to fall and now they are lying in my wallet like dead weight .

In my opinion, I prefer HOLD my coin , dont regret. It is the future currency, High volatile price and Be patient is the key.

simply HODL is not the satisfactory method in lots of conditions. if you are privy to a first-rate funding opportunity and you have to dump a few other preserving, do it. but in case you really dont need the cash for whatever, by no means sell at the loss.
