Guys, faced with the project, took part in the bounty, the result of Scam. Took part in another bounty company, there ICO ended more than a month ago, and the payment has not yet been the bounty Manager is silent...Apparently this year's bad in respect of ICO projects.

you may be right. but, juts be smarter right now. there are so many scam projects. but, there are also many legiot projects. what we must do is choosing the legit one. we must learn how to pick the right project by analyzing their product, concept, team, token allocation, and also their wallet transaction.

These are the problems of ICOs, more and more scam projects and the developers become smarter to deceive all parts in crypto system. With this current situation, every crypto enthusiast must be smarter and learn regularly about new ICO day to day. There is no other ways to know the scam projects besides learning more, smarter, and more selective.

Coin value has depreciated and the least we want to know is scam projects but sadly its the news now. Its rrally sad that you would dedicate your time for months and nothing profitable comes. I would advise we take much caution before joining a bounty. We should just be more focused on the token allocation percentages and be victims of scam projects. Make your analysis, you have to read

We need to check all those projects very carefully. There are lots of ico and projects but probably only 10-20% of them are real.

Yes I see too many projects are scam..We must be carreful and firstly You should learn whitepaper and the man behind project.

You don't need to worry about more scam projects. Now this can be prevented and can be clearly identified where the Project is Scam and not. So there is a trick of its own, there are many sites and tutorials on Google and Youtobe now that can help you differentiate between Scam Projects and not. So that when you can master that knowledge, you don't care about the Scam Project.

a lot of ico or bounty is a scam, we have to be careful when we want to follow the project,
and I suggest joining the telegram group about bounty or airdrop, so you can avoid scam projects.

Just an observation from the original post to the first five replies, it appears to me that it is a coordinated "shill" of that link on replies  ???

Anyway, bounty payments usually starts two weeks after the campaign but there are some that only distributes after two months. Better check the rules again.

Scams are everywhere, they are something unavoidable. We have no choice when there is no regulation to prevent them. Since crypto is decentralized, no one manages the scam cases. The one thing that we can do is to know the characteristics or signs of scams.

Yes thats true its the ugly side of the unregulated crowdfunding events or ICO's that often taking advantage on Anonimity and the nature of Cryptocurrency including decentralization. Thats how ironic these people are using ICO,s like a milking cow to robbed peoples hard earned money in a manner ligitimate aspect.

Yes, Scammers are always and they are always active to scam in any way. It is very difficult to trace a good project from a lot of scam projects. We have to be careful before investment in any project by justifying pros and cons of that project and team members.

The issue of scam projects seems not to be abating any time soon. ICOs need to be regulated by security agents in order to limit the scam projects which seems to be cluttering the market. Before this happen, every investor needs to perform a personal research into the project before joining the ICO. Read intensively and extensively about the team members especially about the credentials they provide. This can be ascertained by checking for coherence in information on all their social media outlets which are old enough to prove their authenticity.

It is no secret that most ICOs (more than 90% if I remember correctly) are blunt scams... on this market, the investors have a very reduced appetite and will only bet on the best, safest ICOs, especially with all they have learnt during the last years... there are a few projects that already managed to get funding through other ways, or that are betting on having a working product before the ICO... this is maybe the way...
As of bounties, I do some myself and often get the same result as you... it is a risk we must be willing to take ... or not :)

Yes that is true because that is the effect of the cryptomarket crisis actually still cryptomarket is struggling to up rather than it going down again thus more than bounties are waste of time but some of bounties keep calm so we should be more patience untill market recover.

A scammer claiming to be a stock broker or portfolio manager calls you and offers financial or investments advice. They will claim what they are offering is low-risk and will provide you with quick and high returns, or encourage you to invest in overseas companies. The scammer's offer will sound legitimate and they may have resources to back up their claims.  They will be persistent, and may keep calling you back.

Yes 2018 recorded a high level of scam projects in the crypto space but that now is driving away slowly as many people has been alerted by this and are not ready to patronize them anymore. Also with the current regulations going on, it's became more difficult for them

What does an investor want in the long-run? To make money out of their investment of course! Because investors want to get a good ROI on their money, they can get a little too greedy. This leaves them open to scam ICOs. If you see an ICO with a tempting taglines such as, “Our coin has 1000% growth!” watch out. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Such astronomical growth rates are not usually sustainable long-term. Be wary of projects that over-promise.

Most ICO scam projects will create a whitepaper with few actual details about the project. Legitimate projects will lay out in great detail how they will use investors’ funds to develop their technology. A scam ICO will only provide the shallowest of details of how they use investor’s money to develop their project. This is a sure sign that they can’t be trusted. The last one project that scammed in big style was SOBIT.
Sobit was an exchange that was online and full operation.
Suddenly the web page was down as well as the other social communication channels.
I think they have lost big moneys attracting investors and users on their exchange.

The crypto-community need to do some sort of working bounty system for all companies! The tokens that are allocated to the bounty program to be transferred to the account of 3 persons before the ico, he will be obliged to distribute the tokens at the end of the ico, regardless of the circumstances.

Yes, there are still some legit projects but they rarely appear. I think most of projects only produce worthless coins. This is the reason to not trust on ICO investment. Actually I am sad to know this.

What i think is that the increase rate of scams might be because the ICO cannot hit their soft/hard cap to continue the ICO or they choose to go off silently and not announcing anything to tell the hunter or investors.

The best protection against this fraudulent tactic is to thoroughly research the individual team members of a project before you invest. It's a bad sign, for example, if you're unable to find any information about a particular developer or founder on LinkedIn or other social media outlets. Even if profiles do exist, check to see if their activity seems to match up with the number of followers and likes they accrue. Individuals who rarely engage with their followers and yet have thousands of fans may not be real.

Scam is an activity that does not return investor funds if a minimum of funds is not reached. They do not pay hunter bounties because the project fails or does not reach the minimum target fund. It is not said to be a scam.
Receive payments from bounties but projects don't work the same as useless tokens that we get.

Investors are now buying when exchange when the ICO price is dumped by hunters by 5-7 times or lower.
So I guess it will take 1-2 years so that people forget previous losses and new investors come.

Crypto's market condition which is getting worse is one of the reasons why the prize project failed or did not reach the target. Receiving bounty hunters does not get their rights. This is what causes the bounty hunter to increase ico.

A project that is not ready to provide information about the team is definitely a Scam. When you invest your own money in a project you need to understand who you are sending money to. I believe that the ICO team should pass KYC

in here are just participating in any kind of bounty campaign without doing some background check about

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that we will be paid for the bounty of the company, this is not regulated by anyone. I guess it is because of the early projects that focuses on solidity and creating of coins and tokens. For me because of this project and ICO production so many people are now having a chance to create their own project or coin or token in much easy way and scam people on this. In the other hand, vise versa, the project is the one who was scammed by partners sometimes we don't look only on the one side.

Indeed, this year is very bad for an investor and bounty hunter so therefore before investing or participating in an ICO Project, check the reviews made by investors on websites like icobench.com, or icorating.com. Customer reviews are good at showing shady projects. This information can save you from becoming a victim of other ICO frauds.

When the market drastically drops unexpectedly there are damages to occur in season or out of season. Nobody wants the market to come up in this dump scenario which happening from Q1 of 2018 until now. Scam projects have a lot of possibilities maybe about the system failures, or market drastic decline, or team members unfaithfulness.

Yes, 2018 with ICO projects did not show a good result. There really was a huge amount of ICO SCAM, for which I spent a lot of time, money and strength. 2019 is also not impressive, but it’s not the end of the year. Therefore, we will observe.

Though 2018 was bad for ICO and bounty participant but i don't think it is as bad as we are making it be, maybe you are not just lucky to get good bounty to participate, at least some still take part in good bounties that eventually pay off for them.You can still get good campaign if you can dig dip.

I agree with OP that recently especially in 2018 there were many scam ICO projects. If the project is legit, perhaps bounty payment can be paid as regulated in bounty rule or even extended for reasonable time.
That scam projects should be eliminated as they not only damage the bountiers but also the crypto world as a whole. Public trust for investing in crypto will decrease and this jeopardizes the sustainability of ICO in the future even the crypto world as a whole.

Same, i also encountered different scam projects and i wasted most of my time doing on it. I wasted 2 months for doing their bounty , waste effort, but at the last they said that the project will be paused and stop doing anything because of the market.

More than half of the bounties I attended are turned out to be scams, but there are also great projects with great bounties too. You have to be really careful before picking up a project. I personally like the bounties of the projects which are listed on ico drops website. It is more trustable than the rest.

Of a truth there are so many scam project that come up on daily bases, which are not genuinely crypto project they just use it as a medium to scam people I don't know weather they forget that crypto project is a global currency instead of making a genuine crypto project.

The number of scammers seems already decreasing nowadays. There are not too many new projects but they are much better projects. That's why many people interested to join STO and IEO projects right now. I think it indicates that new start-up projects are quite good and trustable.

I recently joined bounty campaign which is signature activity where i do post to get stake. I found the bounty manager has a strong reputation in bitcoin forum, so there's no doubt he/she make a good outcome by managing in such a campaign here in altcoinforum.

Yes, av right. Last year it was very difficult to earn in cryptocurrency, and especially by participating in the ICO bounty companies. Even if the projects were successful, rarely did anyone pay us the earned tokens. you can't actually conclude that they are scam because a lot of things can make then not be able to continue with the project again. They might have not been able to raise funds required or regulation issues etc.

Staying on the crypto more than a years will let you realized that most of the projects here are really turning into scammed  after having their ICO or getting a lot of funds. But don't give up here because sooner or later your hardwork will going to payoff once you got a proper and nice project.

Yes, the distribution will be planned in different ways. Some bounty managers can distribute the payments faster, maybe around 2-3 weeks after the bounty program ended. While others can distribute the payments after 1-3 months or even more.

But to remember that there are some good projects also. It is not impossible to get new coins from a good project. However, it rarely comes in the crypto world. Most of them provide IEO and STO, not ICOs.  ;)

2017 and 2018 bounties are really the most exciting list of bounties that's why we really adopted that most of the bounty projects are really turning to scammed after a few months. I do not see any benefit in investing in new tokens
when they go out on the exchange, their price instantly drops and does not rise already

I don't suppose this can be a manipulation. possibly, this can be a pre-sale placement of a token and a game with its value before coming into then you'll understand it's manipulation. I even have seen several eventualities like that wherever it happens and therefore the team either denies that or won't enable you to speak regarding it

Almost every bounty i joined after 2018 first quarter turned out to be scam. I can only say robotina and aidus bounties brought me some cash. I learnt that in bearish market conditions bounties are more likely to be scams. But there are perfect bounty managers that are still working and if you can follow them you can earn a lot from their projects. Dont forget 1>0 so targeting huge budgeted bounties are not the wise choice. Smaller budget but good team and bounty manager is always better.

The issue of more and more scam project has been alarming in the cryptocurrency industries it has been serious matter when it comes for us as a bounty hunters having participated in different bounty project which the payment has been a challenge for the manager to respond to the participant, but for me it will not stop me from participating in bounty project because I don't know the project that Will blow me into the realm of mega money in the future time.

Is harder to find the right one ico projects.Although the market has become more mature and the crazy ICO speculative environment it is not yet utterly declined. Projects that have not much substance are wiped away pretty quickly now with people being increasingly more aware of scams and failing ‘crypto’ companies.

Why do many say the project ends with a Scam because they are not good at choosing and evaluating good projects to support.

Unless they really want to create Cryptocurrency for bad things like coin shillings.

this is a hard task that must be done by bounty hunters in the bounty gift. they must be able to choose the actual gift project, not a project that only gives false hope to hunters. We all know that until now there are still many bounty gifts that do not give  prizes to bounty hunters.

most of the altcoins are scams. Believe me or not they just want to raise money in any means and after the successful sale of their tokens, they will just eventually leave this space and securing the money they get on the IEO or the ICO. Just trust the old cryptocurrency that exist long time ago.

Let's add the market condition that worsens the situation of nad reputation of newly created project turn to be scam. There are maybe a good and legit project out there but because of market condition they turn out to lack of funds to continue further with their roadmap. I have participated with this kind of project and the effort exerted are all put to waste.

More scam projects are being introduced, but one thing that is also helping is the anti-scam projects that are coming. Also users on various crypto platforms tend to report scam project once they spot one and admins do take care of them.

I still believe there is a good project created in crypto world even there are still also many scam project, but there is a solution for a scam project community who have most of the tokens. Now if their tokens could be said a dead tokens can be swapped into one project called CoinJanitor.

Exactly, Honestly it's really getting harder now to figure out who are the legit and the fake because before it's a little easy to know which projects are scammed but now they are providing a lot of informations and developments so everyone will think it's a legitimate project then suddenly gone after having or collected a lot of money.

bounty hunters must be very clever in choosing the gift campaign that they will follow. if not, they will do a futile job without results. their work will not get their rights, because they are working on a fake gift campaign. here's one of the reasons why  Many bounty hunters are withdrawn from the bounty campaign.

Yes, it is unavoidable, it is like a challenge. If we want to try to earn profits, then we should deal with many scam projects. I think the point is to learn how to determine which one is possible to be scams and which one can be trusted. The experience will be very useful to determine it.

The year 2018 is indeed a very bad year for the ICO project, many investors are disappointed and suffer a lot of losses.  But this year there has been a new program from the Cryptocurrency Project, the IEO.  And everyone's hope is, this IEO can be better than ICO, and can make investors return to benefit from their Investment.

not just team but the whole documents presented before the eyes of every investors. i think it would be necessary for an investors to do some kind of reading and understanding the whole project concept before engaging and putting your money for investment in this way a less chances of getting into fake company that would eventually scam you. third party review group may also help in your quest for a good project, their insight might help you and your fellow investors to guide and enlighting some advantages and disadvanhes of the project

Yes I see too many ICOs are scam.  Many tokens are not distribute.  I think It cause of the market is still struggling.. Many investor  afraid to buy or invest in cryptocurrency. I hope the good sign will be there.  I hope the crypto market is green again.

Guys, it very certain, in my opinion that scam projects will be here as long as crypto remains. There is nothing any hunter, investors and participants could do about it rather than to be vigilant and be very wacthfull. this year is a bit okay compare the year of 2017, this year bounty hunter are  not paid for their handwork. after finishing the bounty, the project developer will say that they will lock our token for 6 months or a year before they release it to us. it isn't fair at all
