Post by: vaniosetiawan on September 25, 2018, 06:15:07 AM
I wanted to know if any one of you had ever been a victim of any scam ico.
Speaking of my experience, I lost a lot of money on an exchange. The name of exchange was coinsmarkets. Had 3 Bitcoins in it and they just ran away.
Also been a victim of a scam ico called freelancer coin.

I worked on the diw ICO project. They have the project for long time in the forum but still they did not made the any good value after the tokens are distributed.

I am expecting this coin to be listed on the any exchange. It may avoid from the victim list.

Although this sounds embarrassing, I have to admit that I was a victim of a scam ICO. At that time, I lost money because there was no continuation of the project. That is what makes me very careful about following the ICO at this time.

Yes I have. When I joined the Bounty Campaign in one of the Projects in the ICO. So first I registered to become a member of the Bounty Campaign and was accepted. After I campaigned for the Bounty. It was not long before the Project disappeared by itself. Even though I have spent my time campaigning for the Bounty. So that was my experience affected by Scam in ICO. What is clear is that we must be careful of ICO if we want to plunge into it.

Ever. I am very disadvantaged with the Scam project owned by ICO. First I chose a project about health at the ICO and believed it because for me this project is good. And it turns out that this project suddenly came to a halt. And that was all a scam and harmed me as an investor at that time. For me this is a very valuable lesson.

Ever. I was hit by a Scam when participating in a project to become a member of the project's Bounty Campaign. After the Project is finished I don't get paid. And after a long time the project disappeared. It was very disappointing for me and regret. But I made all the lessons and evaluations in the future in choosing Projects in the ICO.

If you do not invest without research the risk of losing money can be reduced to zero

Even if you carefully consider investments, there is still a risk of getting caught by scammers

When I was a beginner, I was a victim of ico several times. But I never gave up with that failure. I actually learned from these failures. And now I know a lot, the characteristic of ico is a scam. Experience makes me more careful.

I have also experienced being a victim of ICO scams and scam bounties. For ICOs, not much money is lost because they only buy a few tokens. As for the ICO bounty, it lost a few months but the project turned out to be a scam. It was very disappointing to experience that, but we must immediately forget it and be more careful about the next ICO.

Yes bro, I ever became a victim from several ICOs. Till now, there is no communication or info from the team of the ICOs. They have left the official telegrams without announcements. We cannot contact them, and don't know where to ask a help.

all concepts, teams and project development are very well organized in the whitepaper. we have studied it in detail, with the decision of the project is very feasible to invest. At first we did not know that the project would commit fraud, because it was very well wrapped to generate trust. The process of fraud is seen after the ICO pase is over, all the teams involved are slowly disappearing and letting the project look like rubbish.
this is a risk in the crypto world, everything can happen. the absence of legal rules regarding crypto causes thieves to freely commit crimes. I hope that the incident doesn't happen and the rule of law is in the crypto world.

I think most of the investors have been victims of scam ICO, we can only learn and try not to repeat it again.

@expander, that's right. I also have the same experience as you. From experience and failure will make us more careful. And that has made me at least smarter to see which ico is truly legitimate.

This is very embarrassing but I have to say honestly that I have been a victim of a number of ICOs who are scam. Researching ICOs that are truly legitimate does need expertise, and even today I am still learning how to see ico that is truly legitimate.

I think almost all bounties or investors must have been victims of a scam, even though it was only once. Because distinguishing scam or legitimate ico is not easy. Not only involves intuition, but logic must also play a role here. That way, we don't repeat the same mistake again.

Well I guess that anyone with some involvement in ICOs have been or will be a victim of one of these fake ICOs... there is not only the problem of scam, but also of dumb teams with no experience besides programming and crazy visionaries that imagine stuff they cannot make happen...
I've never invested money on an ICO, but there were several bounties in which I've seen my work turn to useless   ;)
anyway...let's hope the good crypto stuff surpasses the bad

Honestly, I was a victim of the ico fraud. But this doesn't matter because this doesn't only happen to me. And as learning, I have become more careful following the ico project as a bounty or investor now.

Ever. Two weeks ago I had chosen a project to take part in the Bounty Campaign. After I followed him and did the work according to his task, the Bounty Campaign, it turned out that over time I saw the project disappear. So I thought the Project was Scam and I was a victim of a scam ICO project. Indeed, I chose the Project not to do research first and hurry.

For the current conditions, ICO has a lot of scams. I experienced 3 times, it was an experience for me to carefully choose a better ICO. Various information is very necessary to choose good, but the character of the team remains a determinant of whether or not the ICO is good.

honestly, I was almost tricked by Scam Iico, precisely when it was more famous for ICO lending. Those who use the ponzi scheme to get profit, I moved quickly to sell my coins when everything had begun to have something strange in the ICO. (Withdrawal, Trade and Deposit) takes a long time, so that day when I have bought the ICO, a few days later when the price rises by almost 100%, I immediately sell it and withdraw. And after that I also invested in Storiqa, and that was the last ICO I attended because I felt cheated that I had to use the KYC when the sale was finished and we had made a purchase. Even though previously there was no such thing.

I prefer not to invest money in the purchase of tokens at the time of ico / only on arne - when the company began to work and there are physical indicators of its performance and assets. If you want to get tokens during the ico period, it is better to use the bounty of the company
