Title: How bad are the ICO's this year?
Post by: jangan on September 25, 2018, 06:47:43 AM
News Headline says “76% of the ICO this year are already underwater” and most of this ICOs were launched in the first quarter of this year. If your going to invest in an ICO, the message is clear be SELECTIVE, choose blockchain projects over anything else and make sure you get into the pre sale, otherwise you will be wasting your time…

I think the ICO is currently very bad, and there are even nine ICOs that will die quickly this year. The many projects that are scam cause bad ICOs in the eyes of users and other communities around the world. As I read in some information, that almost 90% of ICO projects are scams. Whereas in my opinion there are still many good and trusted ICO Projects. So we just reference this opinion well.

This year the ICO is very bad in the eyes of the public. Almost all of these forums discuss the ICO and its Projects that are Scam. As well as many projects that died because there were no investors who entered. For me that is something we cannot tolerate anymore. There have been many victims of the Scam Project and harm many people. This is a bad crime.

In my opinion, the influence of crypto market conditions, crypto regulation from the government and many hacking on the exchanges has caused many investors to hesitate to invest in the ICO project in 2018. As a result many hardcap projects have not been achieved. 76% of projects are very bad, I don't agree. All projects are very good, concept and team support is experienced.

Actually this year's ICO wasn't too bad for me. There are still many good projects that offer some investments to investors. I agree with your opinion, that you have to choose a blockchain project above anything else and make sure you enter the pre-sales in the ICO. That will benefit you. If you don't do it, it will be in vain.

At the beginning of the year, the market growth was simply huge, and you could earn a lot of money, but six months later everything stopped, and as you can see, it's very difficult now to earn because there are a lot of scammers.

I think the same things, but in my opinion more than 80% ICO and bounty not successfully, very different with 2016 - 2017

Many ico have failed and scam this year. It looks like this is a bad year for investors and bounties who have joined the ICO. Some of them left after getting money and some failed with their projects. That's why we have to be more selective in choosing a really good ICO.

Actually, it cannot be generalized that all of IO's were bad this year. Maybe we are less selective in choosing ico so we are wrong to invest our money. But compared to last year, IOO this year is clearly worse because of failed and scam projects.

Crypto market conditions greatly affect the development of the ICO project. Investor confidence in the ico project is now greatly reduced, so many projects have failed sales. I think, for the current condition of joining the ico project you have to be careful with good analysis.

Yeah, I've just read the current information telling about the bad fact of ICOs since January till now. Only about 20% ICOs can reach the softcap and success in fundraising. The rest around 80% cannot reach the softcap and fail to continue the projects. It must be evaluated by certain parties in crypto system to get a right solution.

We can't hit all the bad ICOs this year, because there are still many ico who are legitimate and serious in giving returns. But it can't be denied that many ico are scam at the moment. So that caution and thoroughness are needed if you want to join the ICO project.

I feel that ICC isn't too bad in 2018. Because I have got a good return from one of the ico. Although not much, I am satisfied with that. At least they didn't take my money away. So, we can't appreciate that this year's ico is bad.

ICO this year isn't bad, but it's disappointing. Many ICOs fail and don't reach hardcaps, even softcaps. They also have to extend the time to collect funds from investors. And that is very different from last year, where more ICO projects were profitable.

If we are looking at the number of ICOs, 2018 is a busy year resulting many ICOs with various concepts and ideas. Whereas if we study it based on how many successful ICOs this year, we found only a few can survive and continue for the further improvement. It shows that the quality of ICOs decreases. I am afraid this can make investors be less of interest to invest.

In this period, 90 percent of the life of the projects began to lose value due to market conditions. Some of it went away. Being selective may not actually bring much money under these market conditions.

This year ICO is not so bad for me. Although there are many people who say that ICO is a lot of scams, that is true. But we certainly can tell which ICO is scam and not, so for me ICO is the same now, it's just that investors are decreasing because there are a lot of scams.

Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) exploded in 2017, cashing more than $3.5bn as companies used them to raise an ever-increasing amount of capital.
