Investing in ICOs is a tad risky these days especially there are many scams out there. One of the key indices to look out for when investing in an ICO is check out the private investors and VCs bonuses if there is lock in period for them and for how long. This is solely important just so the these guys don’t dump those huge bonuses at the exchange upon listing, thus crashing the price of the token and causing investors to lose money.

I agree… this is an important factor in deciding on investing in an ICO. Private sales come with large bonuses especially as they commit the funds for the initial funding required for the project to take off. It is therefore important to find out the lock in period of those bonuses and the duration of the lock. This will guard against heavy dumps that will crash the price.

Actually, in the ICO there are still good and potential projects. But we are the only ones who find it difficult.
