I always study the project before deciding to invest in order to avoid fraudulent projects or the possibility of big failure in the crowdsale as not reach the softcap.
First I read the white-paper, then find out about the team of projects. Community is also a big factor in helping the crowdsale succeed.

enter the forum and register there then you are active, that's the first thing you should do in the crypto world? why do you have a forum? because without a forum, you like walking in the sea, there is no direction, and there is no one.
but if you are already in the forum, where you are going, or even become a big investor, all of that will be something that is beneficial for you and for your future too.

the most important thing is if you will be trading always and always use stop loss.

Newbies tend to get hype also by these so called "experts" Do not take their word for it, do your reading still. Understand the basics before even thinking of buying a coin/token.

The best investment advice for beginners is to understand what you’re investing in and why. Whenever you invest your money, make sure to do your due diligence.
Only invest in the stock market funds that you will not need within the next five to seven years. Finally, remember that investment markets are too volatile for short-term money.

The first thing that newbie investor should think is about the mental and knowledge. As an investor, you must be more patient and ready both for profit or loss. Then, never try to work in trading or investment without sufficient knowledge. When you decide to sell or buy, you will do own research or observation firstly. This research or observation needs your knowledge to get best result. That's why I said you must think about knowledge at the beginning.

Before someone starts investing, it's better to first learn a few coins to buy. My advice, take one or more of the top 10 coins and choose a choice. Listening to experts is important, but you don't have to hear all their opinions. Just do what you think is right based on what you learned.

if I can't give good advice because I'm new too but I can only share experiences in my opinion we have to understand the risks that we will get, don't just think about the benefits and we also don't have to be too panicked if the prices go down and don't making wrong decisions and being sorry.

Actually for beginners before investing, you should first study the Crypto world in depth. Especially students how to invest, trade or mining here. So later you will not be confused in doing business. For beginners who want to invest and have lots of money and sufficient knowledge, I don't think it's okay to invest. My advice is to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum or other coins like Rippe, EOS or Litecoin. Of all that is a class of coins that is very worthy of your investment object and everyone here.
