Title: Do you actually use Ethereum?
Post by: Crypto on September 26, 2018, 02:21:58 PM
As far as I am more and more in it, I can do some conclusions.

1) People are mostly not using the ethereum (altcoins as well);
2) Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up;
3) Even considering there are more crypto-companies appear which offer their services, and more people join our community - the level of crypto education and adoption is still very low;

Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality. I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.

So, there is a question: "How much of you use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to its full capacity?" I am curious about this because as for now it looks like there is only a small group of people making some contributions.

Well I don't really know but I think Ethereum is used the way to should be used, Ethereum is meant to be used to fuel smart contracts and Dapps. In fact, I think Ethereum is one of the very few coins that have a real functionality. As for Bitcoin, we need more adoption from merchants and service provider, its happening but with slow-motion.

Other Altcoins mostly are useless, the number of Altcoins that have real functionality is very limited and most projects never deliver what they promised during ICOs so they simply end up being an asset instead of real utility coin/token that have a useful use!

now is the cryptocurrency period developing and born,
but look, lots of new coins that have different visions and missions. wait 2-10 more years, this will not happen again, and at that time all coins will run according to their vision and mission, and coins that have no purpose will obviously die. all there will be a time, just wait.

"Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality"
- This is mainly because there's not that many accepting cryptocurrencies as payments, majority only accepts fiat. If there will be more companies that'll accept, there'll be more people that'll utilize bitcoin, eth, and other alts.

"Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up"
- I do not think we can call them crypto-enthusiasts if they are only here for the price. Just a trader.

So far, the use of Ethereum coin is still limited in some transaction. I myself use this altcoin for payment transaction of buying some coins on the exchange or sometimes for purchase in ICO. However, the most used of ETH is for trading because this time, it is very worthy for trading the Ethereum.

You are right. If they only come to trade and invest in cryptocurrency, we just need to call them as traders and investors. They don't really care about the development of crypto world, still they give contribution for the circulation of coins on the market.

Every single person utilizes Bitcoin in different capacities. It depends on who they are, how much the funds, and how much the needs. However, I think the use of Bitcoin always increases day to day.

I am only using it to conduct transactions in the moment, but I would use it to pay for goods and services in the real world if that would be possible ASAP. Like, I would go out tomorrow and order a cup of coffee for some Ether, no problem.  8)

you hit the nail on the head.  I'm totally with you . I know nobody who uses crypt for its functionality . I think that'sthe reason why crypto isn't stable yet.  Once people start using it for it's purpose then we can say cryptocurrencies would last forever

Basically, I use Etherium to transfer tokens from the wallet to the exchange, or vice versa. And so the Etherium I only have for gas and investment

I think the use of ether is very mandatory for now, many markets use ether as a transaction tool. and various types of altcoins that currently exist are using ethereum platform.

With so many ico projects, many use ethereum for now. they use eth to buy, transact and send. That's what I see using eth for now to increase.

To be honest, right now I only use ethereum for holding and for trading because I'm on my way to increase the ethereum amount and I want to hold much amount of ethereum. Besides that, I am doing this because I know that ethereum can go higher than the price before and ethereum is one of the coins that can give me profitable in the long-term.

I only use a few ethereum for transactions because I'm a beginner in crypto. I currently use more eth because I joined the airdrop and bounty.

Unfortunately, for the people who only care about the current price of cryptocurrency don't really understand the importance of contributing for crypto's sustainability. Whereas almost all people said that they are crypto enthusiasts and dream to see the successful of crypto world.

I use this altcoin for payment transactions for purchases of several coins on the exchange or sometimes for purchases at the ICO. However, the most widely used of ETH is to trade because this time, it is very feasible to trade Ethereum.

I didn't use the whole capacity of ethereum because when we say the whole capacity it means you invested, you trade, you hold and use all offers benefits of this project.

I never use bitcoin and etherium as its capacity. I only use small amount of bitcoin & small amount of Etherium to learn day trading. For Long term Holding, I prefer to choose another top 20 coin/token on coinmarketcap with low price like eos, neo, nem and xlm. Specially for etherium, i only use low amount of eth for gas to selling token that i get from airdrop and bounty.

I only use Ethereum for trading tools, because in my country using cryptocurrency as a transaction tool is banned. And if I want to shop, I exchange the cryptocurrency coins that I have including Ethereum with Fiat Money that applies here.

I don't really know about the number or number of people who use Bitcoin or other coins in the Crypto world to the fullest. But I think, all this has to do with investing in Coins. Most people choose Investment as a way to get success in the future. They usually use and utilize Crypto optimally because it is not just investing and trading, but there are many other ways to do business in the Crypto World.

I use Ethereum for the long term, because Etheruem is better to use in trading with FIAT.
Unlike the other altcoins that always go up and down so fast.
