Title: What are you doing with your bounty tokens?
Post by: bagas79 on September 27, 2018, 04:17:38 AM
When I started following the bounty campaign, I tried to hold the coin or token I got. Then, I hold all tokens from the results of the bounty campaign in hopes of getting a big profit. Now all markets are falling and I don't want to sell anything.
Is holding a coin or token from the results of a bounty campaign a good strategy?
What about your strategy?

first look at the token, is it a good project or not?
if it's good, wait until the price rises high, like NEO, once the bounty is distributed, it's cheap, and after a few weeks the price goes up to 150 USD.
so whatever the situation is if it's a good coin and you believe it, even though it's cheap, holding is the best choice,

Depending on your needs. If the bounty that you are participating in reaches a good or successful sale, I suggest holding your coin. very normal if a token from a project has decreased after being listed on the exchange. You need to wait until the token price you get from the bounty is recovered. usually takes 1 to months to recover.

the market still does not take sides with all the coins and tokens and I also hold a lot. so I will hold it until the price improves

Every time I get a token distribution from the bounty, I sell it. But not all the tokens I have I sell, I still hold a few. Because I hope the tokens that I hold will become tokens that have high value in the future.

I sell it immediately after I've received my rewards from my bounty campaign since im not a fun of holding coins in my wallet and I need money for my daily needs .

My strategy is quite simple, if I consider this project good then I will hold, but if it's not good I can sell it but hold it a few days after distribution because it prevents dumps. I also sometimes trade days if the token is already on the market list

I think now is not the right choice to sell tokens that you get from the bounty because of the low price of coins on the market. You have to be patient a little time to get profit from the price of coins. Maybe you can analyze the project you are joined and see the change in the price of the token in 1-2 months.

My strategy is quite same with you friend. I joined in some bounty campaigns. When it has been distributed, I hold at least 50% of my reward tokens. 50% is allocated for sale if it is needed. For urgent needs, I will plan to sell it. I also think over some considerations, if the token are potential and promising to hold long term, I will keep for long time period. While If the token seems rather less valuable, I will sell them directly.

I would rather hold it than sell it for peanuts. I usually think of the long term and support the project by not dumping.

Now is not the best time to sell tokens, which we get for participating in the generosity campaigns ICO. Therefore, I also try to keep new tokens until better times. Moreover, if we expect that ICO projects will continue to develop and our tokens will eventually grow in price.

I will check the price after the token release on the market, and if I can see the price is good, then I will sell it for 75% of the total amount I have. And for the rest, I will leave it for a long time investment because if the project is good, I think the price will increase too high and in that time, if I sell the token, I will make another profit.

It is true, one way to get a big profit from the bounty result token is to hold it until the price rises high. but before we hold tokens for a long time, we must know whether these tokens have a good future or not ?! if it's not better we immediately sell the bounty gift token we receive.

So far, I'm doing bounty campaign to think that one day I will be lucky to join the best camp ever that can make me a decent rewards. I'm planning to buy ethereum, oax, and some well known altcoins. Be patient is one of my motto to reach that day.

my advice: If the bounty you follow reaches good sales or success, I suggest holding your coin. very normal if the token of the project has decreased after being listed on the exchange. You have to wait until the price of the token you get from the gift is recovered. usually takes  time to recover

It depends on the type of the project I receive bounty from... If I observe that the project will be a great one in future I will hold but to be on a safer side I do sell 50-60% of my coin first.

Even though all tokens which I have are 100% generated from gifts but I will continue to hold on to it, but when the price has already risen I will hurry to sell it. No matter how long I have to wait because for me hold's the best way for now.

if the project continues to develop their ideas, I think you have to hold it and always look at market prices, you must have the confidence and experience to hold your tokens.

I think people were selling their token when it's release on the market so they can get the profit by getting ethereum and they can hold or sell the ethereum. But some of the people trying to keep the token because of they sure that the token price will increase in the long-term. I think it depends on what strategy we want to use after we receive the token and maybe we can sell some amount of the token to make a profit first and then hold the rest of the amount. At least, we can get paid first after what we did with the project.

I always hold on to my bounty coins, unless i got a better reason to sell my coin for like cashing out because i need the cash, buying a more potential coin. Selling due to fear of price fluctuating is a stupid thing to do.

I naturally sell certain percentage of bounty tokens once listed in exchanges and the price is good. If the project is great and has a future, I sell some and hodl some. However, if the price is on a constant decline, as we've seen with some projects that turn to be not what I expect, I simply sell off the tokens and move on. I do this because there are tokens I decided to hodl and these tokens are almost worthless now, e.g EEE and JET8

if you believe you can hold it, if you don't believe you can sell it immediately and take advantage because ico is very difficult to guess and also many cunning people

I sold it as soon as I received my prize from my gift campaign because I didn't like holding a coin in my wallet, but if it's not good, I can hold it back, until the price gets even better.

I'm holding my all bounty tokens this situation is not good for sell bounty tokens because whole cryptomarket is going dull situation so many altcoins are affected this market crisis . Now some bounty tokens values are very very low so I hold all bounty rewards until market recover.

I also hold the bounty token I have. do not worry. if your bounty token price has not reached ico's price, you better hold it.

Can't rely on 1-2 months to recover after listing to exchange.. I have participated in the project before and the bounty token was lock for 4 months but until now the price decreased even further. Token price after listing was continuing to decline until now. It was 80% decrease.. Hopefully, it will recover by the year end.

it's good if we can choose the right time to sell. we don't have to sell it at a very high price because it will take a very long time. we only need to sell it when the price matches.

When the selling price of a token is still in a bad period I try to hold the asset as well as possible because when I panic it is likely to make me not enthusiastic in following the bounty in the future.

I try to get rid of them as quickly as possible to help out the biggest benefit from their sale, there is no point in waiting

my strategy is look if the token is worth to hold  until the token price is high.

Depending on the Vision and Mission of the token, if the road map is seen as good, then I make sure that the future price will rise.
Yapi if the Developer Time is lacking experience and the Vision Mission is not good, then it's better to sell.

If I have a gift token resulting from the bounty campaign, then I will sell it at the highest price. Therefore I have to look at market conditions. If for now the market conditions are still down, it would be nice to hold the token and save it first to wait for the price of the token to rise again and continue to be high. That's all I can suggest.
