ETH is better, we know, how much ETH is mining by miners each day, but we can't say this about XRP. Ripple is not stable, it is like black cardinal and we can't predict, what will be with it next day.

I support both, I used ethereum for long term investment. Fir short term , I choose ripple. They are very profitable.

I also switched xrp because I saw the opportunity to get a bigger profit in xrp was bigger than in ethereum.
I invested all of my money in xrp. I think for ethereum it was growing that the smaller ico enthusiasts were decreasing due to scams and other things.

I think It depends what do you want, If you want do day trading , You can choose ripple. Ethereum is good for long term investment.

I prefer ripple, because I like do day trading. Ripple is more profitable and good for day trading.

I think ethereum is smart contract and so popular now. It is good for long term. Ripple is bank coin. It is good for short term and day trading.

I think both are worth to choose because their current situation is so tempting. How can you compare? These are completely different products with different uses. both of them are promising, but it seems to me that the comparisons here are extremely non-local

If I see this I am increasingly convinced that I will choose Ethereum as my next investment field. So now I believe in Ethereum more than Ripple even though the percentage increase in market is always inferior to Ripple. But his future potential is clearer Ethereum is better than RIpple. You can't compare them, they have different concepts. Ripple has a financial concept while Ethereum creates a new crypto.
Based on usage, Ethereum is superior to Ripple, but ripple also has a good project. even they are independent of their activities, while the ETH still has many gaps.
I hold both for investment, xrp for short-term investment while eth for long-term investment.

Both ripple and ethereum are one of the hottest project on the crypto market. Ethereum have already proved it self in the market being the industry leader, almost 90% of the ICOs uses the ethereum blockchain. While ripple is very controversial cryptocurrency some shill ripple as biggest competitors of the no1 position and some decentralised enthusiastic peoples says it's not true cryptocurrency it's centralised because company holds more than 60% of the XRP coin. There is so many confusion about ripple as ripple provides 3 types of services Xcurrent, Xrapid & Xvia out of which only Xrapid uses XRP token as fuel for platform. Ripple claims to have 100+ clients as shown on their websites but we can not say how many of them uses Xrapid protocol. But recently there were few exchange announce using Xrapid protocol so the chances are higher that XRP price can boom in 2019 again like Jan 2018. For more stable investment if I need to choose one than will choose ethereum over ripple because ripple is quite confusing.

Yeah that's a good observation as XRP can pump and get you a good profits. Although this will depends on the market as ETH can also make a run once those ICO will attract more buyers. It's a 50/50 I think.

What is certain is that I prefer Ethereum than Ripple. Although the percentage of market increases Ethereum always loses to Ripple, Ethereum still wins the price and popularity among Crypto users.
