Title: What are the PC requirements/demands for mining cryptocurrency?
Post by: yousufatik on September 28, 2018, 08:56:14 PM
I want to start mining cryptocurrency, I have an Intel i5, 16gb RAM, and A GeForce GTX 750 ti (already saving to upgrade to a Geforce GTX 1080).

A few things, after upgrading my card:

1) How long will it take to mine with the 1080 and what about with the 750? Should I buy a card that's specifically for mining?

2) How much power does mining use and can you give me an estimate of how much my (or your) electric bill goes up?

3)Can you throttle the processing, does the amount of computations run the card hot and if so what is the life expectancy of the 1080?

Thanks for any input :)

PC for mining must have high specs. There are many reasons why you have to use high specs to mine coins. Because mining with a low spec PC is very risky. Some people have suffered damage to their PC because they are mining with low spec PC.
