If everyone in the world gets into crypto and cryptocurrency will become an official global currency, do you think bitcoin then will stop depending on fiat currency? Or will it just co-exist with fiat?
-
I think that as long as bitcoin is widely used around the world, it no longer depends on fiat but will still exist in parallel with fiat.
-
If bitcoin is officially a global currency, I think between fiat and bitcoin will coexist. Because the bitcoin exchange rate will still be measured from fiat money. So if anyone says bitcoin won't join Fiat after becoming a global currency, I don't agree with that opinion.
-
I think that is very unrealistic that FIAT will disappear so in my opinion BITCOIN and other coins will still depend on FIAT when you have to change from crypto to FIAT. This could be change only if market will become very stable (near 0 fluctuations in price) but at that time crypto would become not more interesting for invesments...

I think Bitcoin and fiat money will be always co-exist, though some days later many peoples use Bitcoin, that is will not make Bitcoin replace money or become official global currency like you say, in every countries will stay use their currency and if we doing a money transaction between far place or between different countries, Bitcoin will help to fix it with easier transaction and faster.
And Bitcoin always depending with fiat money because we still need fiat money to make daily payment and to buy crytpo coin.
-
Maybe its good, imagine if all cryptocurrency not depending fiat but fiat is depending on cryptocurrency, that sound nicely
-
Fiat will be always needed although Bitcoin has become an official global currency. I think Fiat and Bitcoin can be used together, and no need to leave one of them. For certain use in real life, it is difficult to use bitcoin. For example: The payment instrument in traditional market.

Yes it will. But that will happening if only cryptocurrency became a global currency used by everyone in the world.
Many peoples still afraid using crypto because many hacking occurred in crypto. Developers of the coins should make a way to prevent hacking in the future, although the mistake is on the users side, not on the system side.

Fiat is very important to determine the amount of one item. Without fiat there will have difficulties on how to measure the value of the particular thing?
-
Fiat currency will always be the exchange rate for Bitcoin and other crypto money. How will Bitcoin be rewarded if it isn't from fiat currency? Try to think about this.
-
"Which certainly no longer depends if everyone in this world has used Crypto especially Bitcoin as their daily currency. Because it's no longer useful fiat money if there is a substitute for money, that is digital money like Bitcoin. But all that is a mere dream that does not know will be realized or not.
"

If cryptocurrency will officially become a global currency, of course bitcoin will no longer depend on fiat currency. However both of them will continue to run side by side because fiat currency's the product of the pride of each country which's impossible it can be eliminated just like that.
-
Very interesting question. I myself have been tormented by this question for many years, I don’t know why I believe in cryptocurrency. I think that in the future cryptocurrency will become very popular. They will not be able to take the place of ordinary money, other govudarstva not allow it. Looking forward to next year! I think next year there will be global changes)

Fiat will be gone in 50 years in my opinion. But we still need some time to replace fiat. There should be great crisis in economy, people shouldn't trust fiat then they will see the real power of crypto currencies.
-
I think it can be because if all the world gets in to crypto and if people will accept the bitcoin as a national currency so surely there is no need to fiat value or amount.
For example we can buy a mercedes with 15 btc. People will not need to say that anymore to 75k dollar etc. I hope we can see these days :=). That is really exciting.
-
In any case, bitcoin and fiat will continue to coexist, since they cannot replace each other.
-
Without fiat there will be difficulties in how to measure the value of certain items. Fiat is very important to determine the number of one item.
-
I think Bitcoin is not dependent on fiat, Bitcoin is now very popular in the community, both Bitcoin and Fiat are very important, this can be a good combination in the community.

I don't think it SHOULD be compared to fiat currencies. My idea is that it should be replaced with GOLD.
Well, that would suit better.

Crypto and fiat will co-exist and work together. As we see, the exchange now open the usd pair bitcoin, and it's good news for us, and it means the governments slowly will approve cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will not stop depending on fiat currency, and it will give us the opportunity to make a bigger profit.
-
When viewed from the current situation. Bitcoin still can't escape fiat money. So if indeed Bitcoin is truly a digital currency, I think Bitcoin will still need fiat money as a price reference that can be compared with fiat money, so that people or new users can see how much it is worth to buy Bitcoin with fiat money.

we know that crypto and also fiat currencies are interconnected. if we break one of them, then I think it will be difficult. it would be better if we use both of them properly.
