Title: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens?
Post by: bdamenaakter on September 29, 2018, 09:18:10 PM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?

Not always like that.
I think, the prospect depends on the quality of the project, not on the token volume.
Low volume token that based on shit/empty/fake project, is not worth at all.

Mostly low volume Tokens are dead projects, but that's not always the case. There are some projects that have low volume because of others reasons other than being dead. There is very few low volume coins/token that worth to buy right now but you should put in your mind that these coins/tokens will take sometime before start going up because usually the low volume is caused by rebranding, swap and other things similar to this which usually will take time to achieve.

When you see a lot of action buying a certain low volume coin/token that probably indicates that there might be news coming in for that coin/token. But remember if the coin/token is shitty useless coin action does not matter and no news will help it and the buy actions are probably just a bait so you need to do your research before jump in.

For me yes because low volume of tokens have high rate of pumping up. Because few people can buy or few people to handle. So that only a few people can afford its price.

If you have a small Bank, of course, it is worth taking the risk and buy such coins with a small capitalization. Perhaps even randomly, as long as they were at the bottom, don't buy, when they rose sharply. With a large amount of investment, it is better to pay attention to the coins from the top 100.

Tokens that rise up within a short time can be classified as good tokens because they can give a lot of profit even if you invest in them with a small amount of money. I recommend that type of coin to invest in because everyone wants to make huge profits.

Situations are different. Everything depends on the prospects of the project, as a result of which these tokens are created. A low price or a small amount of tokens put up for sale does not mean much.

Tokens with very low liquidity are very risky and can be easily manipulated so everyone that invest in thing like this has to know that he can really have BIG profits or BIG losses. Personally I don't like this situations and I prefer to invest/trade in coins that have good liquidity.

It depends on your own financial condition. If you have a lot of money, it's better to have a high price Token. But if you only have a little. It's better to have a low volume, the most important thing is that you pay attention to the market first. If the Token market is good, what's wrong with buying. That is a fortune for you.

It is quite possible that it is worth it, because a small chance that the token will make big X's is not excluded, but before buying, you should first sort out in more detail what product this coin represents ...

Buying low volume tokens imposes higher risk, but higher profit probability too. I know some tokens that made more than ×50 in the last bull run. However, that depends on the market conditions, if a whales groub chose the token you are holding to make a pump, you would gain a lot.

After searching each detail of the project, if you still think that it is worth to invest, the volume is not important. But low volume projects are mostly dead projects. You cannot sell them easily when you need cash too. It is another disadvantage of them.

Dont buy just by volume.
Volume just for pump and dump coin.
I think other factor is needed for buying coin

I think yes that it worth it to buy in low volume.
Because we can sell again when the volume is up and i think when volume up price is up to.

Personally for me the volume of the coin is not really a factor of consideration to me, i always buy coins only when i see the value in them. Buying coins based on volume can be a strategy also and i believe it carries more risk.

for my opinion its depend exactly. If they have something value like the good techonology or good product and stick to their roadmap, i will buying them but if just the so so coin, i wont take a risk. cause you know its already a low volume tokens and if you put your money inside, you will feel regret if something bad happen. If the coin have value and they only have a low volume its just a matter of time for them to grow up cause they have something value that other coin dont have.

It depends on where the coin gets a list and if the coin is available on the big exchange like binance, bittrex then it is worth because, in that site, the price can moves fast to the higher price. But it won't give a big effect in the small exchanges like hitbtc or else. So if you want to buy low-volume tokens, then you need to know where the token is so you know it is worth or not.

its so risky in my opinion, but if you lucky enough, you can get much gain when they pumped, because low volume is rugularly targeted for pump and dump

It's very hard decision because I don't believe low volume Coin. This market situation many low volume Coins almost dying I don't take the risk . But if buying low volume Coins ,it will survive this situation will get high profits.

it is a coin that is very well worth it, because such a coin if you experience a price increase will definitely be able to get a lot of profits, with the rising volume will definitely make the price of the coin to go up better.

I think we should not easily fall in that kind of project. Let us always remember that no matter how huge and small the volume is we must be more careful. Identifying the ICO is our first move to be attracted with the project and then support if we like it.

I also believe that buying coins with low capitalization and low trading volume is risky, but at such times there is an opportunity to purchase a large amount of coins at a low cost. If this coin starts to go up, then you will get a significant profit. Because coins with high capitalization do not have such a potential as those of coins with low capitalization.

It doesn't work that way with all tokens. Some of them are just kind of scam or almost dead.
Of course there are those which are worth buying, but it's hard to predict how will it behave.
So you should learn the market first and then listen to your intuition.

Decide for yourself think with your head.No 100% will be able to advise you to buy or not coins.I notice this trend that mostly coins that will give x are long-term coins. There are of course exceptions but it all depends on your analysis and skill in the crypto world

it all depends on the prospects of the project in the future if the prospects are good and there are indications of luck then it is not wrong to buy

The behavior of crypto is unpredictable in the sense that it is very volatile where it can have its market price fall so low or rise so high. It's really worth buying on the said type of crypto and if you also know how to deal with it then you can sell it when the price gets so high or it's too late before realized that it's only a pump-and-dump kind of crypto..

It depends on the project. If the project is just only new that's why the volume is still low but it's really looks good then even me I'll go there. But if those project or coins that appeared from somewhere that has a low volume I think it's not really good.

for daily traders it is not suitable to buy coins that have low volumes because of the opportunity to get fewer profits when compared to high volume and to be traded very slowly
for daily traders at high volume that day can transact 10x if compared to low volume it can only be 1x transaction if the coin that has been purchased can rise in price, because we do not know when the coin can be the price that we expect

Sorry, but it seems to me that you put the question incorrectly, you should rely on the fundamental information about the coin in the first place, then you will not care for daily volumes, but from a technical analysis point of view, this is bad

For me it's worth it. Because if we buy tokens at a low price, in my opinion it is very profitable, on the other hand the price is cheap, on the other hand we still have high hopes that the price of the token will continue to rise in the future. That's why I said that buying tokens when low prices are worth it.

I do not know about you but I would not buy any tokens base on volume. I mean there are other things to consider before thinking of buying.

Crypto is all about taking risks so if you are willing to take risks, then you can invest in it. People make a lot of profits from investing in these type of tokens but you can lose your money too, so invest wisely.
